OK let's talk about "the girls"

I beg for flame free responding but after reading the inquiries as to Cathe's perky chest it got me thinking. In various videos she looks more up, more down, more muscuclar, more full (and really, always gorgeous). So I think it is likely a sports bra issue more than anything else contributing.

But ladies, what exercises have you found if anything that work to lift "the girls"? I have done more push ups, flys, presses than can be counted. Is it all in the bra and "I accept them in all their gravitationally challenged glory"? I sense that this is ultimately the answer. Other than the implant route which I ain't going to (no judgement, it's just that I am saving to re-do my basement so one renovation at a time! ha!).

Please advise! And have a great weekend all.

Sounds like you are doing what you can do - building up the chest muscle wall behind the breast tissue. Just wear proper support for any jumping around too.

I make sure to include incline presses and flyes in my chest workouts, as they are good for me for filling in some 'muscular cleavage' and fill in an area that can otherwise, on me, get kind of 'chicken chest' bony.

A good combo is doing flyes to near-failure, then changing to presses to near-failure (since the presses are compound moves that allow you to continue to work the chest beyond the point where the flyes--isolation moves--allow you to work). By 'near failure' I mean, not the point where you risk dropping the weights or can't get them up, but the point where you don't think you could do one more rep with good form.

Building up the upper/inner chest in conjunction with a good supportive bra (something with padding on the outer/lower, edge of the cup, that pushes the actual breast tissue in and up a bit, depending on your knees) will together give that 'perky' uplifted look.

I think it helps that I'm on the smaller side. Chest exercises and wearing a good padded bra (love Victoria Secret, NO underwire) really helps me. And this is after nursing 3 of my kids , 2 for a year each!
