The guests and the work start today...... I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday filled with appreciation for all the cooking, cleaning, additional laundry, etc that goes into our holiday. Merry Christmas to all and to all....... a clean kitchen!

I'm so looking forward to this weekend. DH and I are finishing up shopping today this morning and then I'm going to put music on, pour myself some eggnog and get to wrapping. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to you all! As a teacher, today is my first day off and I get to finish my cookies, wrap presents, shop, and ENJOY having my two oldest kids home from college along with my 15 yr. old DD. Lots of action and mess! I am thankful! But right now it's off to butts and guts

*slinks into thread head hanging* I am normally so on top of things, but with a new job, and a trip to Pennsylvania this past week, I am woefully behind. On top of Christmas, we have a Christmas Eve party this year, too! So, I'm hoping today to bang out the shopping (I'm about 1/2 way done and get out of work early today - and I have a list!). Tomorrow I hope to get the groceries for the party and Christmas dinner and get all of the wrapping done. Then I'll get to cook and enjoy Sunday.

Oddly, though, I'm not stressed. I love this time of year, too, and I realize that no matter what, everyone will enjoy themselves and the spirit of Christmas will bless us. It's such a magical time of the year.

Hey, I am right there with you! I do love this time of year, even if I don't have time to sit down and eat and am running around like a headless chicken. I have two kids parties at school today - which I planned and am leading - and that is just the start of it! Phew! And honestly, I will just be lucky if there is any part of the kitchen counters that isn't covered.
