Ok can someone tell me the actual cost of P90X?

Ok can someone tell me the actual cost of P90X? On the beachbody website, it says:

“You'll receive the P90X training system FREE for 30 days, plus $14.95 s&h. Enjoy it for 30 days and if you decide to keep it, do nothing and you'll be billed just $35 a month for 4 months, charged to the credit card you enter today."

That’s $140 plus $14.95 shipping right?

I called customer service because I wanted to have it billed in full once instead of the four months. The price quote I got was $249.75 + 24.95 shipping and handling for the deluxe package. The customer service representative could not answer this.

What gives? Does anyone know why there is $100 difference in price? What’s the difference between what they are offering on their website, versus this deluxe package they offer when you call?

I was planning to start this program in January, but with what I’m hearing about their customer service and billing practices, I may just call it a wash and look for some other challenge.

Well I can tell you I had a bad experience. A friend of mine ordered and I previewed them after he got them and I was in Love with them! I ordered the set and some bands, got my confirmation email and waited. I waited a week and a half then emailed customer service. I heard nothing, I called and couldn't get through so I emailed again, still no response, I called again 2 1/2 weeks after the actual order and they had no record of me anywhere. Even with the emailed confirmation and my credit card # they had no record of me. Thankfully there was nothing charged to my card. He said that this happens often, which I find inexcusable. I told him that I would only keep the order if he could overnight it. They said they would wave the shipping cost but it would be another week, I was so pissed I said forget it. I have since borrowed the dvds from my friend and worked out to them a few times. I still want them but am so mad I refuse to give them my money, LOL.
I think he only paid like 170 or something close to that, I have no idea why they are charging you so much.

Hi Ladies, you may want to check e-bay, I saw them last week sold individually. Their customer service is not the best.

Be VERY careful buying them on ebay!! I bought what turned out to be a pirated set of P90X DVDs and they wouldn't play in any DVD player that I own. Fortunately for me, my credit card company backed me and the money was returned on my credit card. Others have not been so lucky.

I called Beachbody yesterday and today and finally think I have gotten an understanding of the pricing for P90X. The call yesterday left me even more confused than I was before I called.

There are 3 packages if you call their customer service number.

The Deluxe package is 249.95 + 24.99 shipping (can be paid in 5 payments)
The package includes 12 workouts, a chin-up bar, 2 prograde resistance bands (30 and 40 lbs), 30 day supply of the peak recovery drink, 30 day supply of their
a 3 phase nutrtion plan, a fitness guide, Tony's personal tips and guide video, and a progress tracker and on-line internet support.

The Elite package is 199.96 + 24.99 shipping (can be paid in 4 payments)
Does not include the recovery drink and vitamins.

The Standard package is 149.97 + 24.99 shipping (can be paid in 3 payments)
Does not include the chin-up bar, the resistance bands, the recovery drink or the vitamins.

If you ask about the website offer, the act like they don't know it exists and can't give you any details about the package there. (Not quite understanding why they don't have access to check the website and it's offer.)
Anyway from what I gather the price is on the website is 140.00 +14.95 SH (can be paid in 4 payments)
It does not include the chin-up bar, the resistance bands or the vitamins. There is a sample of the Recovery drink included.

All packages include the 30 trial period.

Considering their bad billing practices, I asked if I could pay by check? Never got an answer on that one.
