Oh the sights, sounds and scents of Fall!!!

Ahhhhh! How heavenly to hear and smell the rain of Autumn!! Add to that the peaceful combination of the rain, fireplaces burnig and the cool breezes!! It may get cold enough tonight that we could see a wayward snowflake or two!!

The trees are golden, brown and rust colored here in Colorado!

Ohhh such beauty to behold with all of our senses!!

Here in Virginia it was about 88 today! Not so much like fall DH was just commenting on how he's ready for the cooler weather. Me too!!

I love fall/winter it is such a different feeling. In Phoenix, we don't have fall, it's either hot or cold. We are flucuating between low to high 90's, so it will probably be November before we see any significant changes

I like the colder climates

It was more 'early fall' here than 'late fall": highs in the mid-80's.
The only nod to fall seemed to be the colors of the leaves.

I always know when fall is here, because things like watermelon and other very-summery foods do not appeal to me at all, even if they look good in the stores.

hi! in the pacific northwest, leaves are starting to fall, temps in the upper 50's. lots of rain!!!! gray clouds and a little thunder today,, went and bought pellets for the stove, and put the flannel sheets on already

Its still toasty here but the sun rises later and later in the morning, puts a crimp in my style. Its supposed to be 88 deg. today, but its warm already. I'm still wearing shorts and tee shirts.
