Oh dear....

Count me in. After reveling in my ten pound loss after my surgery, I promptly gained at least 5 of it back!x( Crappers. I am so mad, I have been working out and all that, but pick constantly and have started to get pretty lazy about what I put in my mouth-yes, sugar is my downfall.

I would like to shed this pesky 5 pounds plus 2 more and will do it!
I know how to do it. Protein, veggies and a few good carbs, lots of water. But where is that iron will I had when I was bodybuilding? I lived on halibut and broccoli for years.x(

How often do we do our 'weigh-in?"

I'll join the crowd too. I need some inspiration to not pig out during the holidays. And Lord knows I need to lose 10 pounds!

Shelley,
Are you sure you didn't weigh yourself at the wrong time of the month? This past two weeks I've been wearing a FULL SIZE larger than usual. I had a few suits I was going to have tailored, and I'm glad I didn't! I never get on the scale at times like this. In a week or so, I'll probably get on the scale and be back to normal. Do you think the same might be true for you?

Nance - nope, definitely not, though it would be nice to think so. But if anything, this would be my LEANEST time of the month. I would hate to think what the scale would have said if I'd weighed myself during PMS.:p

Shelley,

Nancy is right. I have noticed I can go up to five pounds more at that wrong time of the month and then go back to normal. I don't eat so well, either. Some days are better than others. Weekdays aren't too bad but weekends home with DH, usually no workouts and a freezer full of food don't help matters.

Since my Dr. has temporarily stopped my TTOMs, I can only surmise that my weight is due to what is going on with my M-O-U-T-H :9 and not my T-T-O-M.

Hee!
:p

Marcy, have you noticed that some months are worse than others? This month has been super pouffy for me. I wouldn't be surprised if I've gained even more than 5 lbs. I doubt my waist could fit into the pants in my avatar right now, and that pic was taken only a few weeks ago.

Nancy -

Yes, this month I went up by 3#, September I was up by a pound and August I stayed the same. I find my weight stays more under control with heavy lifting and moderate intensity cardio. Too much intense cardio and I eat too much and lose all the good muscle gains I've made.
