Ditto. GS C&T and ME abs for me. I also want to fit in a walk and will mow the grass (didn't get to it yesterday) and enjoy this awesome fall weather!!!:D

Jane, I baked my sweet potatoes in the oven last night while we watched Amazing Race and scooped and froze, so I will get to have a sweet potato smoothie today,......with cinnamon, I think. ;-)

Hi Guys. How is everyone? I wasn't on the computer much yesterday. I worked my first night shift which is 5-11:30. Glad I don't have to do that everyday. The night flew by, it was getting the kids situated after school before I had to go, that was tough. I'll have a plan Friday when I work it again.

I'm off to do GS C&T also and abs from ME. How are y'all doing with the rotation? Seeing any results? I KNOW we're FEELING something, how is it looking for you guys?

I've decided to do a LB rotation next month. Probably fat burning, LB. I have a rotation printed out here but I don't have time to see what the hec it is yet.

Enjoy your smoothie Becky. I hate sweet potatoes so I won't ask you for that recipe! LOL.

How are you doing Jane? I just got TTOM so that explains why I was craving sugar the other day. I had some Light ice cream made w/ Splenda. My eating has been pretty clean, but I'm not eating enough and when I should with work now. I have to watch that so I don't slow down my metabolism. I still have 20 lbs. to go. I can't stop losing now! I'll IM you later some time.;)

Hi Terri! How's it going? I wasn't on much yesterday. Are you adding cardio today? I'm going to walk after work if the weather allows. I'm off tomorrow so I don't have to rush so much. I hate rushing. I'm a "do good under pressure" type person, but I hate it when I have to rush my wo's. The good news is I get to sneak a guitar lesson in tomorrow! I can't wait. ;)

Good job Phyllis! Try not to drop to much stuff today! LOL!

Hey Phyllis,Jane,becky,Kali and others who follow,

I decided to get away from the rotation as my days seem to be filling up and getting crazy. I'm looking for a rotation to do, but right now just doing what feels good to me that day. Today with my schedule think it will be abs and the bike. I hate I had to get away from the rotation but I need alot of legs and better to do some total body light weights.


Kali- Keep that metabolism going!!

Hi everyone,

Kim, I know what you mean. I am even considering throwing in a (gasp) Slim Series workout here and there just to "feel" right, if that makes any sense.

Today was GS CT, couldn't go as high as usual on the chest section, and I will never get to the 10 lb dumbbells Cathe uses for those lying tricep extensions, my arms are shaking with my 5's and 8's !
Also did ME abs and then the stretch since I had the time.

Good morning all:

It was Rhythmic Step for me today. Really like that one and getting the hang of it too. I'm seeing results on this rotation for my upper body. My biceps feel really firm and a bit more curvy. I don't have the GS upper body workouts or Slow & Heavy so I've been using the Pyramids and CTX. When I used the Pyramids back in May or June I got good results. Last night I ordered S&H as I've heard so many good things about it. Actually got a nice compliment from a guy friend on my arms yesterday, and I was wearing a long sleeved, close fitting top too. Felt pretty good, but of course I was embarrassed as he said it in front of a few other people.

Jane, I will have to try the sweet potato smoothie. Guess what, I've never had one before, let alone made one. Also, Jane, I hear you say you feed your horse. Do you ride and what kind of riding do you do? I ride dressage, but have ridden hunter/jumpers, evented, done team penning, reining, fox hunted, all kinds of stuff.

Phyllis, good job on the quaking and shaking. I need to push more and get more quakey and shaky. I tend to stay at the same weights that I've always been at.

Wendy, again, great job on losing another pound! Keep it up!

Conni, I know what you mean about the overhead tricep extensions. 8# has been my max and it never seems to get easier.

Kali, I used to play the guitar and like to sing. It's wonderful to find something that you are passionate about and look forward to participating in or learning more about.

Becky, I'm enjoying the fall weather too. Have a bike ride scheduled with some fast riders tomorrow. However, on that ride, it's all about pacelines and just keeping up so you can't look around at the beautiful leaves, just watch the wheel in front of you. However, our bike club has a fall color ride planned this Sunday, about at 35 or so miler. Should be lots of fun and will be at a leisure pace too.

Good job to everyone else I've missed. Now off to work for the day.

Hey Kim! I know you're probably already gone to work, as I am heading out the door myself. I think that's a great idea, you doing what comes to you each day so you can fit something in. Then you won't feel bad if you didn't do what was on the rotation.

Hi Jeanette!Glad you're seeing results! Me too! I LOVE RS. I have so much fun every time I do it. In fact maybe I will do it tomorrow for my step workout if that's what we're doing. I don't even know.
It is nice to have a hobby that you enjoy. I am definatley passionate about my guitar.

I only used 5's on the extensions Conni and I was shaking like a leaf! I guess we're really working when we shake like that tho!

I started those extensions with #8's but that didn't last long and I did the rest with 5's.....I have NO IDEA how Cathe does #10's after all the other tricep work! ack!!!:eek:

I'm done with abs' and chest and Tri's. And at the end I was "shakin' like a chihuahua"!!!

Jane, I just finished a sweet potato smoothie........one word..........AWESOME!!!!! I LOVE it !! I added a little cinnamon because I love it and even when I eat baked sweet potatoes, I like to sprinkle some cinnamon on it. I think it's my new favorite!! YUM YUM!!!!!!!
I think you blew some of your weather our way and today it's going to be 80 & sunny here! I will get out and walk later for sure!:D

Here I am Terri... I have to get started on my workout, I've delayed enough!!

It is 84 degrees here!!!! 84 on October 19, geezz... and another major hurricaine about to hit us... God help our economy!! Those poor people in Florida and the gulf coast, they should get the equivalent of war medals.:-(

Jeanette - I don't ride. The horse is DH's. He team ropes, heeling. I don't like horses and am, in fact, scared of them. DH works out of town for the better part of the week, so guess who gets to feed the horse:p
 
Hey ladies,

I hope everyone has had a good day! My day has been so-so. I just got back from PT and foot has been aggravated this week. I never know what makes it have an attitude! I will do some abs this evening but I need to take a much needed nap. Even for 30 mins will help. I'm thinking about doing one of the abhits. Wanted to do the bike, but they put this medicine patch on my ankle and you can't move you foot hardly. I have to be careful walking!


Kali- I wanted to do this rotation but I can't exercise till I get home and I sometimes can't stick with it. Jane told me to go by what I felt like. I will do that till next month. I will figure out what rotation suits me! Hope you had a good day at work. Also do you remember what day I said we would do the coremax killer this weekend? Ever what is convenient for you and terri.

Terri- Are you still doing coremax this weekend? I hope so girl!

Jane- What have you heard about the hurricane? I haven't had a chance to listen to it. That's all we need! Has everything been going okay with you? Are you working hard? And by the way, would you like to do the coremax killer this weekend with terri,Kali and myself? The more the merrier!}(

Hey Kim... the last I heard of the hurricaine was this morning and it was due to go over Florida right around Tampa at 2 a.m. Sunday morning as a category 3. Unbelievable!!!

I don't know about that CM killer... I'll see. A whole hour of CoreMax sounds sadistic to me!:+

I just finished GS C&T and I was shaking!!! I upped my weights for the flys and used 15# DB... boy was I sretching those pecs!! I use 8# on those cross body extensions and I go to complete muscle exhaustion around the last two of the second set. I can't make my arm go up no matter how much I strain!! I have a feeling I am going to be sore! I used 35# BB on the closed thumb chest press. I couldn't do the bonus 4 counts with that weight, I gave out.

Of course, abs from ME... I like that ab w/o.

I am going to feed the horse, feed myself and then go for a walk in a bit.

WHEW! Have yo u ever done all three CM back to back before? I remember hearing some (Charlotte? Kali?) were....and I can't imagine.
I guess I am up to TRY but I know by the end of ONE CM, I'm feelin' it! :p So I can see myself whimping out halfway through......but I'll try!

Jane, it's 83 in my part of Ohio today! Very summerlike. I took a good 45 min. walk this afternoon and kept getting BITTEN by bugs!!!! Not very common in October!!

Dinner was a pb & banana sandwich and apple. DH had to eat something in a hurry and I just didn't feel like making separate meals today. I had planned on something healthier, but that's gonna have to do !

I've been very hungry all day and while I think I've eaten more than I wanted to, at least more of it has been halfway healthy. NO ICE CREAM or candy corn....!!! ;-)

I have done it three times and I would do #1,#3, and then could not complete#2. So I have done about 2and a half. Terri and I usually do it together. she can complete it unlike me. Kali is going to do it with us, so maybe it will give me that extra drive to finish! Do it with us anyway. I'm not guaranteed to finish it either even though I want to!

I didn't have my winter squash with my dinner as planned. My MIL called twice while I was eating and on the second call I had gotten up to get my splenda bowl and sprinkled splenda on my squash. Well I took one bite and whoa!!! I had grabbed the kosher salt bowl, not splenda!! No way I can eat that. I know better than do anything while I'm distracted!!

I'm in for Coremax this weekend! I only do 1 and 2 Becky. I have to work Saturday 9:30-3:30 so I can do it before work if y'all want to do it Saturday. Just let me know.

Jane, I've been wondering myself about this crazy weather! Maybe it's the "end of days". Hey you never know. Does the horse know you're afraid of him? Just curious. I love abs from ME too.

Kim, I'm glad you took Jane's advice. That sounds like a better plan for right now. Your foot is aggrivated because of all the stress you're putting on it. It'll get stronger just like you!

Terri, I'm glad your Dad is home and your son will be ready for the release party. Thank goodness. They asked me to switch at work. So I'm working tomorrow 9:30-2:30 instead of Friday 5-11:30. I still get my lesson tho. We just moved it to Friday.:7:7:7

It's about to rain here so I didn't get a walk in.x( I was gonna do some cardio instead but I've decided to go to a meeting at 7:30. I think I'm doing RS or SB tomorrow. Didn't decide yet. What are you all doing???

When you do SB and the rotation calls for an "all step workout of choice" do you do the blasts??
I haven't picked my step workout yet........any fun ideas anyone??
