Hi gals. Today was a much better WO for me. I did CTX upper body and I feel good. I don't like to do crazy eights with the barbell. I substitute with dumbells.

Kim, I don't think I'll be doing the coremaxathon as tomorrow is my day off. I hope you and everyone else enjoys! Phyllis

yesterday was a run for me instead of step. I just didn't want to do step.

Today is my rest day due to my afternoon being filled up. I will just switch Friday and Saturday and do the stretch along with the other w/o's scheduled tomorrow.

I don't feel like doing legs and glutes & abs today!!!!!!!
But I will, and be very glad when I am done.
I think I'll add on a walk on my treadmill or maybe ride my bike for cardio.

It's raining here . In fact today is the second day in a row I've woken up to THUNDER!!!! Sounds like spring.....feels like winter is coming!!! :eek:

Hi Blissies.

Well, I succeeded in getting Cardio Kicks done yesterday. I had my doubts because I had a full schedule but I got it squeezed in there. :)

On the schedule for today is MIS. I will, however, have to skip some of the leg work. My knee(s) have been bothering me on and off lately and right now my left knee is really buggin' me so I am going to listen to my body and take it easy. I will not do the squats or the lunges or any other exercise that puts a lot of pressure in that area. I hope it's just a temporary set back that fixes itself with a little rest.

Gotta go get my java now.

Today was a PERFECT example of pushing yourselves when you just don't feel like doing a workout. I really didn't want to do L&G's, but since it was on the rotation and everyone else will do it (today or this weekend), I made myself and guess what? It felt AWESOME!!!! I forgot that it is my favorite leg workout, the music ROCKS and Cathe is in such a good, fun mood, it really puts me in the mood to work and challenge myself!!
I'm so glad I did it now and I'm PUMPED to face the day!!! (gloomy and dreary as it is)

Headed for the stationary bike and to watch the last Biggest Loser that I TiVo'ed and still haven't seen yet!!!:eek:

And yes Wendy, .... rest and coffee for that knee!!! :p :D ;-)

Good morning everyone,

Today was my first time doing LG. I taped it off of FitTv and it still was really good! I don't use ankle weights any more ( I bulk easily ) and I still felt fried! Cathe is sooo fun in this one, I hope her next series has that attitude. I love the Hardcores, but she is so serious in them. This was great! Did the abs from KPC also. Good workout!


Saturday - Aerobics and weights, haven't decided exactly on what workout.

Sunday - Coremax and Stretchmax.

Good Morning All,

Well I did legs and glutes yesterday as I wanted to do more then just run. So today I am going to do a circuit workout to get a bit of everything. Probably high step challenge or maybe extreme :)

Becky-I felt the same way yesterday with legs and glutes. Once I got into it though the time just flies by! It is fast paced and fun huh?!

Phyliss-I don't like crazy eights either :) I do them cause they work but they have the dread factor for me.
Conni-I think you are right Cathe is fun in the intesity series and the body blast series.
Wendy-I can relate to your knee pain. If I do too much or do too many high impact step workouts in a row I get knee soreness.

Good morning ladies,
Today is my day off work, so no workout yet, but I will do Legs and Glutes and the Abs from KPC. Yesterday was my fast bike ride with the guys. Well, they kicked the speed up and for the last few miles I got dropped. However, when I got back to the parking lot, I checked my average speed. It was 19.6 (for 23 miles). I was flabbergasted, no wonder I felt like I was tired. What a workout! Riding with faster people really makes you ride harder, that's for sure. I've decided I'm going to get the Spinervals and really work on my cycling indoors this winter. That way I'll be ready when Spring comes. Someday, maybe I'll be able to stay with these fast riders, for a little longer, anyway.

I've backed off on doing any running cuz last time I ran, my knee was sore and I don't want anything to affect my cycling. I just need to run slower, if that's even possible LOL, and keep it at 1/2 hour for a while longer.

I too love to get up with my coffee and log on to the forums...very comforting indeed.

I'll check back in after Legs and Glutes.

I'm back, Legs & Glutes and KPC abs in the bag. Good workout but those ankle weight exercises are the real killers for me.

Kim, 8 am is perfect for me tomorrow morning for the Coremaxathon. I'll do some cardio first and then Coremax before work.

Hi to everyone! I'm off to shower and get the boys from school and go to my guitar lesson! YAY! I hope I don't humiliate myself, it's been a while since I've had a lesson and I have to admit I haven't been practicing that much. I don't care tho, I'm just glad to be going.

Hey girls,

Never did SS last night because we didn't eat supper till eight o'clock. I was going to get up this morning and do it but someone did not set the alarm clock. So I will attempt it tonight. I really hate I'm not getting anything accomplished. Be glad when I can share my workouts with all of you too!

Kali- I glad you will be joining terri and me tomorrow. We will all sweat together. I hope others can join us! By the way did you get the PM I sent you?

Kim, on those days when it seems like I want to do anything but work out and I'm not due for a rest day, I just make myself put in the DVD and put on my shoes. After 5 minutes or so I'm into it and it is over with before you know it.

Kim, yes I got your message and replied. Did you get it? Ok. So tomorrow morning Coremax is on! I think I'm going to do dreaded LowMax 1st. Probably just 1/2 of it tho as I will be pressed for time. I did the 1st 1/2 last time so tomorrow I'll do the other.
Did you do SS yet?

Next month I'm definatley doing a LB rotation. Actually, I'm thinking of doing cardio & LB every day and throw some upper body in every other day. That sounds like a plan. I'll keep it as freestylish as possible since that works well for my already bulky legs. Now that I'm working, I've had to shorten my w/o's a little to fit them in.

I ordered Leaner Legs and Ab hits today. That'll be good having a shorter killer leg workout handy. I have a pretty good 30 minute "Great Legs" workout from Bun Busters with Liza Elliott that works well. I'm just used to it now so I had to add ankle weights. But it still works well for "slimming" the legs.

Oh....I'm not moving out yet. DH is going away maybe before the holidays, if not right after, and I've decided to stay here since I'll need to be here while he's away for 4-6 months. That will be a pretty long separation I think...Plus the money I would give to my friend for expenses I could start banking so when he gets back I could get a place of my own for me and the boys. I just don't feel comfortable staying with someone else. He knows nothing has changed and my staying on doesn't mean anything at all except for what it is. So we'll see what happens. One day at a time. One hour sometimes!

I don't know why the hell I'm rambling. Missed you guys today.

Hi Ladies.

Okay, I'm a loser!LOL No work out today simply b/c my lazy a$$ did not feel like doing it! x( I can still squeeze in everything I need to do though if I don't mess around over the next couple of days!

I want to try the Coremax challenge tmrw if I can but now I will also have to do the upper body work from both MIS and Power Hour as well (this is what I was SUPPOSED to do today)!!! Then on Sunday I will do the lower body work from the same w/o's providing my bum knee allows for it. x(

YIKES! I just looked at the schedule and MIC is back up for Monday! OY VEY, Cathe is tryin' to kill me, I swear! LOLOL :eek: }( :p :7

So I allowed myself to be sucked in today like so many others! I ordered kickmax, imax 3 and the Classics DVD's as well as RS on vhs! }( }( }( I asked for the RS DVD for Christmas but I'm impatient and besides, it got me free shipping!!! It was worth the $10.00 right there! :+

I didn't get your reply back. It might not of gone through. But yes we are doing coremax at 8 sharp! So far I think it will be you,me and terri.

I'm thinking on doing legs and glutes tomorrow either before or after coremax. I can't believe I am getting up so early on a saturday! At least I know I will be getting it in! I want to do cardio tomorrow also, but I will not discuss that so early in the game because I never know what my days hold.

Hey Kim...don't forget about moi! :) I intend to coremax with you all although I DOUBT I will be doing this at 8 am! :p I DO sleep in A LITTLE bit on saturdays and sundays! :+ I'll probably just be crawling out of bed to my coffee pot when you ladies are gettin' started!}( I hope I can get everything in tomorrow! I need to play catch up big time!
