How's the rotation going everyone?

Mine is going well. I had to skip MIC last night but that's okay. I will make it up tomorrow! Today is ME...OUCH! }(

Hey wendy and others who follow,

Yesterday I didn't do anything and feel like I have screwed up this weeks rotation but I will be on track today. I have down LG instead of leaner legs. I don't think foot could take LL right now. I will also do the bike or LM (depending on what my foot will do!) and 12 mins. abhits.


Wendy,MIC is a killer cardio! ME is no piece of cake either!

Good Morning Wendy & Kim and all who come later!

I'm loving the rotation so far and think I am seeing some changes!:)
Yesterday was a 3 mile run and S & H chest and back. Today is supposed to be another run and abs. I'm going to substitute my stationary bike for the run today. Just think my legs need a break . I added LL on Wed and then Thursday's run and tomorrow is LL again , I think , so I'll ride my bike and use some different muscles and do abs.
This morning I am fasting and have to go for some tests. Just routine cholesteral and diabetes tests. I had my yearly exam Tuesday and all was well, just gotta go have these tests.
Since I am fasting.....I will workout later. Can't imagine running or riding for 30 minutes and not being allowed a sip of water!!!:eek:
So I'll do it later today.

When I have routine tests, I can't eat but I am allowed water! I can't imagine not even being able to drink water!?!

Have fun with L&G! That w/o has a dread factor to it for me...more so than LL ever does! }(
 
Hi Blissies!

I just got done with cardio from Buns of Steel 2000, (lame I know) and a 30 minute leg workout I had. I put on my ankle weights and that kicked it up a notch. Had to do something to fit into the time I have.

Wendy, glad your rotation is going well. Hope you get great results.

Becky I'd wait till later to work out too. I forgot to do abs so I'll do some after work. Glad your seeing some changes! :)

Good morning everyone!

I am really messing aroudn with this rotation, mainly because I don't have some of these. Today I did PLB and coremax 2, tomorrow I am doing Gay Gasper Cardio Crazy ( which is a circuit workout with step, hi/lo and upper body band work with an ab section at the end.)
Sunday will be coremax 3 and stretchmax 2. I think in that way I have incorporated all of the necessary elements for the weekend. I am taping LG today off of FitTv, so I going to put that in next week where it calls for a lower body workout.

Hello Ladies,

Well mediation is over and the case is settled THANK GOD! Now i can move forward:) It was a very exhausting day and I took yesterday as a reat day. I NEVER hardly ever take a rest day so I am not beating myself up over it. I will not take a rest day this weekend:) So I will be doing yesterdays workouts and odays. Since I do moe then the rotation calls for anyway this shouldn,t be an issue.

Jane- Thanks for th Aim message :) I didn't get home until late then went oit with friends for awhile to celebrate bu I did get it :) Sorry about your cravings yesterday too ! All better today?
Kali-I hope all is well with you. You know I am prettu sure they have to give you a break during the 6 hours. Let's chat later ok?
Wendy-I saw the post about the job from home thing. I agree with the others who said no way. I hope your interview today is more promising!

Hi Again,

I'm back and already grabbed a Bagel energy bar (from Sam's) and some water. I was SOOO thirsty.
My fasting instructions were, no food or water after midnight. I wasn't all that hungry, but I was very thirsty, so I'm glad it's done and I got a bottle of water first thing!

No school today and now my dd is up, so I will push my workout to afternoon, when she will be gone at the mall.
I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I am showered and dressed at what normally is my workout time, and got get my haircut, and finish my errands for my older dd's baby shower which is TOMORROW!

Hi Terri!!!! I cancelled the interview for today. Got a few bad vibes so decided to listen to them and not even waste my time...hope I wasn't wrong! :eek: LOL No biggie...I can always go p/t retail. In fact, that's what I WANT to do at this point but for some reason DH is resisting this idea. No idea why but I'm gonna whoop his a$$ if he doesn't come around soon! }( :p }(

Wendy, yes, this is our first grandchild. She is having a boy!! She is due Jan. 22 . :eek: Thanks for asking!:D
It wasn't planned.....she found out she was pregnant while planning their wedding!!! But things are falling into place now and both my dd and sil are very happy and anxious for "Brayden" to get here.
 
How cool, Becky! They say being a grandparent is THE BEST! Better than being a parent!!! YIPPEE! I'm so happy for you! Cool name they picked out too! :+

ETA: I did the UB premix of ME this morning before Joey got up. I will do the LB premix when he goes down for his nap. :)
 
Yeay! The L/B premix of ME is done so now my work out for the day is OFFICIALLY complete! :+

Now I can stuff my face and grab a shower before Joey gets up from his nap!:7

FINALLY my day has slowed down enough for me to fit in a workout.
The rotation calls for a 30 minute run, but since I did that yesterday too, I am subbing. I thought I'd ride my stationary bike but it's 72 degrees & sunny so I am grabbing my dell mini dj and heading out for a walk. I'll walk around an hour and then head home and do abs.

I ran tons of errands, got my blood work done, got a haircut, wrapped presents, did a mountain of laundry...........still have brownies to make, but I'm taking a break to go walk! I think I need and deserve it!;-)

Hey everybody... I had started a thread this morning also and this is what I'd posted....

Good morning ladies....

Yesterday was PUB and TimeSaver chest and back, Legs&Glutes, and a 30 minute run.... all on a belly full of PB and peanuts! Hopefully I can rein this in today. I need to eat well today since my 5K is tomorrow.

Today I am taking a rest day due to tomorrow's 5K. I will probably get in those abs but that's all.

Have a wonderful Friday everybody. TGIF!!!!

Taking a rest day is still my plan. I have not eaten very well again today, ugh... and will probably crawl the 5K tomorrow. Oh well, at least it doesn't last, I always go back to eating well but at least I didn't stop exercising this time which is my norm. I did a pretty good w/o yesterday with a belly full of PB. I just hate having to repair the damage but such is life....

Becky, it looked like you are ready for the shower. Can I have a brownie???:+ I'd actually like the whole pan if you wouldn't mind?:+ How far along is Natalie? I don't know when my DIL and son will start a family, I'm in no hurry though:p

Going to ... I don't know what I'm going to do since I'm not working out.... :p but definitely not eating!! I think I've hit the wall;) Hormones are hell aren't they?

Well, I could have waited too!!!! But nobody asked me!:p

I would love to share the brownies with you, but since I can't, how about if I promise not to eat any either??
There is going to be tons of food there, but I really am going to try not to eat much. I haven't heard of one healthy thing they are going to serve, (cake, brownies, bbq, potato salad,chips & dip....) so I think I'll pick up a veggie tray and bring it along.;-) I may be the only one eating it but that's okay!

I walked for almost exactly an hour and now I am going to do abs.
Don't be too hard on yourself Jane....we ALL have days like you are having now, and as long as you get back to healthy eating in a day or two, no harm done!
What time is your race tomorrow? I'm excited for you and can't wait to hear how it goes and how you do!!
 
The race starts at 8 Becky, I'll probably get there about 7 or so. I know it doesn't last Becky but it is just so frustrating for it to happen in the first place. I don't think there is any escaping it. I did last month and was utterly amazed that I did and actually thought it would be repeatable but no such luck.

Oh well... I may go out and walk a little bit just to clear my head. I also need to put peanut butter on my shopping list...my jar somehow disappeared:p

How has everyone's day been? My day has been pretty good! I have already finished LG(doing ankle wt.sections) I couldn't complete all due to me legs are weaker than before! I need to step up my times of doing legs a week. Will try to find time to do the step or bike after she has me going to rent movies and supper later. This is my and dd's weekend together. Tomorrow morning we are going to get our hair cut together. I haven't told her yet, she loves doing stuff like that! I need mine cut because I just colored it and I need to cut off dead ends.

I'm back and I finished abs & planks from SJ&P and abs from KPC. That's a good little ab workout!

Jane, I understand your frustration. I have the eating thing and also have been having a sleeping problem....finally put 2 and 2 together and realized that I sleep great for half of my cycle and the other half I am a complete insomniac! I asked my gyn (sorry if it's TMI for some.....) and he said it makes total sense and he suggested a med at night, that is used to prevent migraines and taken at night is a sleep aid. hmmmmm.......I was all excited about something that might address both problems until I saw it is an antidepressant!!!!!!!!!!! ugh. I've heard bad things about them! (He assured me he does NOT think I am depressed, and it's not the stigma that can go along with it that is bothering me, it's the possible side effects!!!!!)
Just wish we didnt' have to go through so many changes as we age!!!
I'm going to try it but don't know what to expect. He prescribed the lowest dose available and said even at that some people sleep and sleep and sleep and never feel rested!!!! I'm very energetic in the morning and am the type that wakes up BRIGHT EYED and rarin' to go most days......so I couldn't stand that!! Will have to see how my body reacts I guess. But if I start taking them and you guys don't see me here early in the mornings.....you know what's happening and somebody PLEASE WAKE ME UP!!!!!!:eek: :p :eek:
 
Hey Becky... I take something to help me sleep also, it is an old-line antidepressant and isn't even used as an antidepressant any more. I've taken it for about five years and it really helps. I am what they call a middle insomniac. I go to sleep fine but I wake up at 2 or so and can't go back to sleep. This med I'm on helps with sleep consolidation. I'll e-mail you.

I am sooorrree from chest and back yesterday and my back never gets sore! That PUB and Timesaver w/o really work them good. I am still sore in my biceps from Tuesday, three days ago!!


Oh BTW... did you know that PB was good on WW tortillas? I ran out of bread...:+
