Hello to all of the UBBB (that's short for upper body bliss babes ;) )!!!

I figured I'd start you all off since no one else has yet!

Today is supposed to be my rest day but I may do a short cardio and then Stretch Max.

LOL at Wendy.... I started a thread one time Wendy and it was Monday and I put Thursday... I guess I was wishin' for the end of the week bad!!

I am wrestling with myself to do C&T this morning. I have to go to work at 10:30, I may try to start around 9:15.

I may do a short run when I get off, a very short one.

I am just waking up and dh wants to go to IHOP. Man that is the wrong place to take me. I will find something healthy to eat. Today I dread to say that I have coremax,GSBSB and GSCT to all do today. The tv was taken up for most of the day. But I'm going to do it and complete week one.

Hi Ladies,

I am up way earlier then I had wanted to be. I stayed up until 2 in the morning wath episodes of lost. It is a great show that reels you in and makes you want more. I rented the first season. How many seasons am I behind does anyone know?

Ok so today I will run. Kim I think Kali and I are with you on doing both upper body dvd's. I am also going to do coremax,

Wendy-I have a great matress I bought 5 years ago and it is still in great shape. When you buy a new one remeber you get what yo pay for. Mine is a pillow top and I love it!

I am waiting for the rain to start and the light snow we are suppose to get tomorrow !

Terri, the 2nd season of Lost just started ....so you are not too far behind! Isn't it great??? I'm glad you are enjoying it.

I am wondering what everyone is planning to do today as far as GS tri/chest?? I was sooooo sore last time, I am scared to do it today!
I don't even know if I'll find the time because dh is home all day and I do it in the living room ....center of the house, main tv.....so I normally only workout when I am here alone.
IF I DO find the time and opportunity, I am thinking about lowering weights even more,(and skipping the band work?????) but truth be told, they were fairly low last time!
Please share what you are doing about it today!!! I need help!:p

Hey Becky, I just finished C&T. My soreness was gone from doing it a few days ago. I think that is what we have to go through in the initial stages to build the density up in these muscles. I went ahead and did the heaviest weights I could manage and the band work. I figure, no pain, no gain. I suspect though I won't be as sore this time as I was last. That is my experience with weight training. In the initial week of all that lower body work last month, there were a couple of days I was actually walking funny but is went away and I wasn't even sore towards the middle and end of the rotation. Do the work out full out Becky, I don't think you'll be as sore this time. Just my opinion though, you know to always go with how you feel, nobody know that better than you.:)

Well I am getting ready to go to work. Hopefully the time will pass fast. I have to work tomorrow but I'm off Tuesday for my comp day so I have that to look forward to.

I'll check in this evening when I get off work if I decide to do anything else as far as working out.

Becky-I too just finished Chest and tri's. You can do it! Also thanks for letting me knoe wbout Lost. I do love it and have questions but will refrain as I will watch more to get the answers:) I need to finish the first season fast so I can start tivoing the second and catch up. What night does it come on?

Jane-What are you going to do with your day off Tuesday?

Hi girls! I'd love to join your checkin as I need some extra inspiration these days. Today was Imax2 for me and I added basic stretching after. I'm hoping to see results from this rotation, as my upper body was neglected in Sept. rotation. Have a great day! :)

Hey girls,

Just finished doing GSBSB after eating at Ihop. I didn't eat too bad but I wouldn't make a habit of it! the one I'm really dreading is GSCT. Considering I have to turn around and do it in two days. I stayed sore half of this week from it! Well if I don't jump on it, it will never get done!

Well it stopped raining so I opted for an hour &1/2 walk. I haven't walked in over a week so I was glad to go.
Sorry I chucked upper body Girls. I may still do some later. I just feel like relaxing today.

Kim glad you didn't do too bad at IHOP. I know I would have went crazy there. Hope you don't get DOMS too bad! How's your foot today?

Becky, I don't go heavy on my weights at all and I'm still seeing results. I never got into going heavy tho. Hope you got use of the TV!

Jane, sorry you're working. Let us know if you end up doing anything later. Remember this shift should be done soon right? :)

Wendy, did you do cardio and stretch max? What's on your rotation for tomorrow?

Hi Terri! Is it snowing yet? So you like Lost huh? That's how I was w/ Desperate Houswives. I missed the whole 1st season and then when I watched the 1st episode in the summer, I was hooked! I'll talk to you later.

Well have a good afternoon Ladies. I'm having steak and salad and beans for dinner. No potato. I'm brainwashed off potatoes. My husband said thought he'd never see the day. Potatoes used to be my favorite food!!!

Just popping in... 2:30 and halfway there. Terri - I have a hair appt on Tuesday but other than that and working out, probably getting my winter/summer clothes switched over since I have yet to do that despite my best intentions!

Kali - this shift for me doesn't go very fast because it is not my usual shift but I'm halfway, so almost there. These days roll back so fast anyway.

Welcome Phyllis, nice to have you on the check-in.

I've been sitting here thinking I may do some lower body work after I get off, if I do anything, instead of a run. I ran yesterday and I may run tomorrow in place of IMAX2 because of the 5K I have on Saturday. We'll see. Decisions, decisions...:p

Hey girls,

Yes I am watching the Nextel cup race. My driver isn't doing so good right now, but he won the busch race last night!:7 Right now I have been doing GSCT by memory since the tv is being taken over. I also before that did LM again. I couldn't stay away, it was so tempting! I only did the warm up and the first three step combos and I felt a little twinge, nothing much but I don't want to push it! I can't believe how it took a turn so quickly on getting better. I am so glad though. Well I still have triceps to go and will probably do those by memory also. Better than nothing!:)

Kali-I can't wait to go to the PT tomorrow and tell them how my foot has improved! Maybe they will put me on that leg press machine. I hope I can do it! I have only worked out with my step in 4inch, so I'm not sure if my foot could take any more height. I won't try that no time soon!


I'm off to watch nascar and do those chest muscles and tris!

Hey Kim good luck tomorrow at PT. I hope they have you do the leg press machine too! That'd be great! Good job with Lowmax again! It's probably getting better now because that boot is off! Now it's able to start moving and stretching etc. again! Just do what you're doing and listen to your body and you'll do fine. I'm so proud of you. We have the race on here but I'm not paying attention at the moment.
I'm waiting for the Yankee game. I hope they win or else they're out of the playoffs!;(

Imax 2 tomorrow Bliss Babes! I am really grateful for only having the Fittv version of that one!!!}( HAHAHA! Works out good tho because my time is starting to get crunched so I want to get used to working out a little less. Every day I mean. I need to keep it at an hour, hour and 15 min. to get out of here in time for school and work. I'll do it tho! Have to!

Hi everyone-well I still have to do cardio but everything else is done. It is pouring rain here so I am kicking back and watchig disc2 of Lost season 1. I am addicted..Usually I cannpt sit still very long but this I have been watching on and off since last evening.

kali-I am sure you will get a new routine down with the job,kids, work etc. Sounds like you had a nice walk today. I am going to run on the treadmill later. It is only 2pm here so no big hurry. I am enjoying this cold day and am excited to see if it snows.

Imax2 tomorrow..yay! One of my faves :)

Kim-good job on doing weights with out cathe to watch.
Jane and Becky and Wendy what you gals up to today...besides work Jane:)

Okay you guys , I have to report that I FINALLY did GS T&C. ACK!
I did the whole thing and didn't lower the weights and you're right, it wasn't as difficult as last time. :) I still bet I'll have some doms, but maybe (hopefully) not as bad!!!:p
I also went for a 1 1/2 hour hike in the woods , up & down many steep hills! I've even eaten good today. WAZZZZZ UP??????

Anyway, I am treating myself AND dh to a baked apple smoothie and I have to tell you Jane, that he tasted his and said "I can't believe what a great taste this has!!!" WHAT ? Did he not believe me when I told him ???? :p ha! Anyway, I hope this doesn't mean I have to share from now on!!!! :eek:

I'm glad to be done, now I can relax tonight and forget about it.
