Good morning Upper Body Bliss Babes!

Today we're just stretching or catching up if anyone is behind a day.

What does everyone think so far? Seeing any resuts? I know I am. I was leery about doing UB because my legs are still so fat, but I like what it's doing to my arms and I can see all the muscles in my back without even flexing! I'm not too thrilled what's happening to my chest... but hey that's what padded bras are for right?:7

Yesterday I did GS legs instead of BB&Tri's, and I am feeling it today! I'm so used to doing the Fittv versions of PLB & L&G's. GS was a run for my money! And I only did the longer timesaver! :eek:
I don't have major DOMS tho I can just feel all the muscles I worked. I try to keep all my weight work freestylish so I go pretty light.

I'm sure that'll change later tho. I'm working today from 10-6:30! It's gonna be a long one. I'm getting used to it tho. It feels a little funny "having" a job that I "have" to go to now after being off for 6 years. It's a little overwhelming w/ everything going on with me and TH (I'll put The not Dear) but it's also helping me deal with everything going on. Well enough about that.

I'm off to do some cardio. I think I'll try a premix from SJP.

Good morning Jane,Kali, and others who follow,


It is a dreary morning hear and alot of rain. Need it but it is yucky! Today GSBSB,2segs of coremax and bike. Yesterday was my rest day so I am catching up. And don't know all of you but I am still sore from GSCT. And think I have to do that tomorrow!x(

I hope I can feel some soreness from GSBSB today because at least that lets me know that I worked them hard and maybe used heavy enough weight. Did I say I hope I would be sore? That will be fun when I have to do chest/tri the next day.:-(


I'm hoping to see some results from this, because I want to check up on my measurements, but I have been holding off. I don't think they have changed unless it is in the wrong direction. I am really hoping my biceps get bigger with this upper body rotation. I am a ll1/2in.bicep and want to be a 12in. Maybe it can happen at the end of this month.

I am no longer and "upper body bliss" participant but am I allowed to check in with my work outs anyway? Pretty please? :+

Today I will be doing CTX chest and tris just to even up after starting the October rotation on Sunday. Then I will do a step vid.

Tomorrow is my rest day and on Monday my intent is to start the Fat loss rotation unless I get the Christi Taylor w/o's I ordered and they are calling to me to try them right away! :p }( :p
 
Okay ladie I tried doing Lowmax today just a bit of it and it went well! I only put my step flat to a four inch height and did the warmup and two blasts. It was really fun and I didn't go all out I was very cautious about my foot. It really seems to be making improvement. I will be careful though.


I will do GSBSB and coremax later. I am so tired from doing just what I did so far. I will check in later.

Hi "Babes"! :)

We took an early morning trip to Sam's and then went out for breakfast, to Cracker Barrel. While dh ordered biscuits and gravy (!), I was good and got oatmeal with bananas, and a blueberry muffin, but WAIT before you GASP and shake your head at me.......I only ate half of the muffin. ;-)

Unfortunately the day went downhill from there, on the way home we ran over a piece of concrete in the road and instantly the front tire went flat to the rim!!!! ugh!!
Finally we are home (driving on the spare) and now DH is taking my car to get 2 new tires! ughhh That's an expense we didnt' need right now!:eek:

I will run & stretch today and try to get myself mentally ready to do Tri's & chest tomorrow. I also need to cut the grass, so I better do it BEFORE tomorrow, because I probably won't be able to do it AFTER that workout!!! :p

I hope everyone's having a great weekend.
 
Becky, sorry about your tire, that is always the way it happens though, just when you don't need it. I just finished my 3.25 mile run with 1 mile total w/u and c/d. I am sipping my cantaloupe protein smoothie and then I am going to get this house cleaned up. I will definitely do my stretch later on today, I am feeling tight and maybe lower body, we'll see. I still have to go to town to the store sometime today.

Wendy-I am not doing the October rotation EXACTLY as written. I add more cardio and lower body to it, so of course I think we are welcome here :)
Kim-Great Job on the lowmax try. Just becareful :)
Becky-Sorry to hear about your tire. I hatt when unexpected expenses come up.
Jane-I need to clean my house today too! I am not in the mood though so I will push myself to do it :)

Today I am going to run and do legs and glutes.

Hi again everyone.

I just finished my run ......did 3 miles in 30 minutes and did #2 & #3 segments of the new total stretching dvd. That felt GOOD!!
I am drinking a chocolate mint (WITH COFFEE!!) smoothie ....very much like a Starbucks Frappuccino. :9
I EARNED it! ha!

Now for another shower (the reason I usually am an early morning exerciser!! No need for multiple showers!!)....and then off to pick up dd.
 
1 cup of milk (I use chocolate or vanilla soy)
1 scoop choc. potein powder
1 york peppermint patty OR chocolate mint syrup to taste
1 T. instant coffee
1 cup ice

Soooooooooo good!

DH and I went and had lunch at IHOP today after we picked up Joey. I had a belgian waffle! :9 My fat count went up for it but I still have about 800 cals to eat before I'm at my mark as today is my big cal day. I'll just consume as little fat as possible for the rest of the day and I should be fine.:)

I am off to do coremax # 3 and I think I will do another 20 minutes of step also so I will be taking multiple showers today also, Becky! Annoying, isn't it? lol

Hey Wendy-Those waffles soung yummy too. I was going to run today but switched at the last minute and did 2 cardios from ctx. I did the kickbox one and then step interval one. I actually like the kickbox workout from this series. usually i am not a big kickbox fan! I am off to do some work an my abs now then clean house.

Hey I rented season one of lost..does anyone watch this show? I have never seen it but heard it is good.

I was Lost and LOVE it! It's not normally the type of show I watch either, but it's REALLY good and getting better all the time!

Oh Hey Becky thanks for the thumbs up on Lost! Since it looks like I have no one to go out wih tonight I wanted something good to watch:) I am not a big tv watcher but like to rent and watch at my own pace! Still owrking on my cleaning here. It only 4:30 pm so I have plenty of time. I heard we are suppose to get rain tomorrow and much cooler! I am happy about that! Today was 85...I am over summer you know?

Coremax 3 and All Step on a 6 inch step are done! :) I was quite disappointed in the cal burn for All Step on a 6" as opposed to my usual 4" though...only about 50 cals more. WTF?? I went slightly lower intensity on only 1 move I think...I thought the height diff would make more of an impact calorie wise! x(

DH is going to rent us a movie so I may not be back tonight...gotta wash dishes and feed Joey before went settle down in front of the boob tube so I best be going!

Well I survived my 1st Saturday. It is INSANE in that place on the weekend. I'm going to be working in the bath section on the floor so I'm glad about that. It's more fun doing projects, helping people instead of just checking and doing returns. x(
I'll be a back up cashier which means I have to go up and check when it gets busy. They don't have like 5 girls on registers there. There's 2 at the service desk and then 1 on a register. And one person waiting behind someone getting checked out is considered a LINE! My goodness.
But it's fun. I'm really tired tho. I did the step/hilo premix of SJP this morning. Had a great time with it.

Sorry to hear about your tire Becky. I know unexpected expenses rot. But thankfully neither one of you were hurt.

Are you doing a rotation Wendy? Or your own thing? I'm glad you're still going to check in with us.

Jane did you get LB in today? Hope you had a good day.

Good job Kim trying Lowmax. Just take it easy and you'll be ok. I'm glad you're getting stronger. How's the eating been? Any junk? Hope not!

Hey Terri! I never got into Lost. I hear it's great tho. It's been raining here for over a day now and it is a lot cooler thank goodness. We had drought conditions almost a few weeks ago, and now there's a flood watch. Unbelievable. It said in the paper today we're expected to have a really cold winter here. I don't know who expects that, but some meterologists put an article in. Did you get all your cleaning done?

Hey Kali-ongrats on your first saturday! I am glad it went well for you. I am still working on the cleaning and goin at a slow pace:) It's a saturday night and I am cleaning...BOY I really know how to party!

Oh well relaxing nights are sometimes good. It is suppose to rain here tomorrow :) And a inch of snow on Monday. I am happy about this! I want to wear my Sweaters :) I know you were wanting to as well Kali!

Yes I'm just about done getting all my sweaters out of the boxes and in drawers. Next is tackling the closets. I need to get things in order around here.....

What's your workout plan for tomorrow Terri? I think I might do both GS's tomorrow since I subbed GS legs yesterday for GSBBS. I'll do a premix of each one. It's still going to be raining here so maybe I'll do one of the Lowmax premixes. That sounds like what I'll do.

Hey everybody... I am tired with a capital T. I am feeling the 3:30 wake up this morning. Hopefully that means I'll sleep tonight.

Kali - I did not get in lower body or anything else besides my 3.25 mile run and 1 mile walk this morning. I cleaned house, then left about 2 to go grocery shopping. I stopped my my neighbors for a while to visit since I haven't seem them in a while. He is the one I was telling everyone about in August that has melanoma that has spread to his brain. He doesn't look good at all. They are still treating him aggressively which I'm glad up. He is fighting this. Their daughter and my daughter are the same age and grew up together and are best friends, more like sisters. It's a bad situation.

Anyway I finally got home and DH informed me that friends had called and wanted to go out to eat. ACK! We just went out last night and I don't like to eat out more than once a week for calorie reasons. And to top that, they were going to my favorite Mexican restaurant. We had a good time, there were nine of us. Yes, I ate way too many chips!!!x( But they were so:9

I'll talk to everyone tomorrow, I am about to crash and burn.
