Starting us off today..Got a busy day ahead. I am taking the kids to a Field Day being held by one of our homeschool groups. I volunteered to help out and lead one of the groups. Then later this afternoon I have to teach the kids' PE class. I am hoping to get S&H leads done when we get home..

Hi Kathy! and everyone! Have fun with field day today -- hopefully the weather is good where you are. We are in for rain -- I'm thrilled! Really!

I did PUB this morning for the first time. I see why this is so popular. I really like the no-nonsense approach and also love that it's UB one day, LB the next -- hate that three day split of GS -- it just messes me up somehow. Vilma, next week (at least) I'm going to try for two days of kbells and then PUB/PLB, with cardio mixed in. We'll see how it goes. One of these days I'll get back to GS, but I even like the 4DS format better, for some reason. Maybe it's the odd number.

I'm happy it's Friday!!! I'm happy we're finally getting some rain!! Have fun everyone.....

Actually, I owe you a rotation -- it was you that wanted to see the one I came up with, right? I'm using my husband's computer right now -- when I'm on my own, I'll post it again.

Good Morning everyone!

So the day isn't going to go as I planned. I was really hoping my 7 year old would be over his sickness, but he's not. Still has a low grade temp (100 this morning) and a loose, congested cough. I'm taking him in to the Ped for 11:30. I really thought he'd be in school today. Oh well. My older son's blood sugar was high this morning, so I need to keep my ears out for a phone call from HIM, incase it's still high at lunch. Never a rest for the mommy!

I suddenly got very confused by your rotation, Beth. 8 Days the first week???

I know CA time is different, but do you guys have an extra day out there?? :p

Week 1:
day 1: muscle max
day 2: imax
day 3: Total Body Circuit Workout
day 4: cardio coach
day 5: pyramid UB
day 6: PLB
day 7: Turbo Jam
day 8: rest/yoga (I know, I couldn't resist an extra workout)


So I ended up combining day 5 &6, and did PUB: Up Only Premix w/Abs and PLB: Ball work on the floor. I did BOTH stretches! Ahhh!! I have to say, PUB Abs is one of the best Ab workouts. I'm going to have to remember that one for an add on in the future!

Kathy: Sounds like a crazy, but fun day! i too hope the weather cooperates for you out there! It's suddenly FALL here, very cool morning. 40's!! , but sunny. I am liking the crispness in the air, though. So far! Hey..Will you be too busy for a workout today?

Beth: the Pyramids are awesome! And you know what's coming, so getting through "just 8" makes me grab higher weights. I was a little distressed that there is Ball Legs in it, because it's so not my favorite thing to do with lower body. But I do it!

Now I'm thinking I might end up staying with Beth's Rotation. I'm a little leary about going on to Cathe's because she has little cardio in it , and I feel I'm benefitting from hitting the cardio more this past week (scale number inching downwards!). Might just stick with Beth's come Monday!!! (It's a toughie , though, but a good challenge!)

Going to putter a bit, and then off to the doctor's....

Hey all!

I'm taking a rewarding rest day after doing Imax2 and 4DS Bootcamp yesterday. Well...that's the plan. If I have time and energy tonight I'm going to hit MM. But today is celebrating the drop in temperature and Friday-edness.

Kathy - you must have a lot of patience in general. I couldn't imagine teaching PE to children.

Dawn - have a good workout!

Beth - have to thank you again for encouraging me to try Imax2. Isn't it awesome that we don't have triple degree weather this weekend?

Chris - so how much longer until the "toe-cast" goes away.

Ok going to try and find the IT guy so he can register my stupid Mac Address to the network doesn't think I'm some pirate computer...

Yes, 8 days the first week -- what was I thinking?! Good combo on the pyramids. Yes, that ab work was great!

Howdy Chicas!

Workout for today is The Kettlebell Way - looking forward to it.

Dealing with a hangover from being a wino last night after dinner. LOL I started drinking white wine while I was cooking and just kept on going. Gah! Now I'm feeling ick! lol

Drinking tons of water and taking aspirin, I'm feeling much better compared to this morning at 530 when I still saw the bedroom swirling around.

Uh I am such a lightweight when I drink - honestly I think last time I had some alcohol was over 6 months ago.

Lil one is back at school this morning and the house is quiet.

Today is DH's 'Monday' so he'll be going to sleep soon to get to work tonight.

Once I don't feel so green I'll be doing my workout.


Kathy thanks for getting us started and Field Day with the kids sounds like so much fun

Dawn Hi! Are you running outside or on the TM? I'm a TM runner mainly because I live out on country roads and don't want to get hit by a pig truck. Sometimes though I'm so tempted to run outdoors like Chris does, I just need to do it one day :)

Beth I love PUB/PLB thats a very great dvd and listed as one of my Cathe favorites on my profile page. Glad you got it!

Let me know what rotation you plan on doing and perhaps we can do it together. :)

This week was like this for me:
M - MuscleMax
T - 20 m HIIT & Lauren's dvd
W- zippo lol
H - CCPP
F - Kettlebell Way
S - KPC

So it looks like by the end of this week I would've done 2 days KBells, 1 day TB, 3 days cardio.


Chris didn't you get the memo Mommy's never get a break lol.
As much as I try to plan out my weeks they usually never go as planned.

So sorry that your son is still sick and here's hoping you don't get a call from school about the other son.

Luckily this morning when I got up I checked my lil one and she felt fine, checked her temp just in case and so I gave her a clean bill of health. Typed out a letter to her teacher explaining her absence yesterday, made breakfast, packed lunches and told dh he was taking them to school today as my head felt like I had an iron poker spliting it in two. No more wine for me - well for a while anyway lol :eek:

Chris did you not remember the bonus premix in PUB/PLB? It's an hour long combo of both. I love that bonue premix as I get the benefit of both workouts and make it into a TB one.

Well 2 stretches is fantastic too ;)

Hottie Good for you taking that rewarding rest day! Enjoy the cooler temps.

I run on my treadmill all the time and I dont really have a rotation

I pretty much go how I feel and what I feel like for the day. Its usually a run pretty much 5 days a week but different runs ,long, short etc. I can run outside but find that its more convenient for me to just go downstairs.Take Care!

I’ve been very busy today organizing some closets in my house. Today I did 4DS Kickbox + Bootcamp and added BM2 Abs. It was an awesome mix! My legs are fried from yesterday’s workout and today’s! I LOVE BC from 4DS, it’s so much fun! I hope Cathe makes more like that.

Dawn: I hope you enjoyed your workout today! I miss my Jari Love DVDs. I sold them all a couple of months ago.

Chris: Sorry to hear your son is still sick. How did the doc appointment go? WTG on your workout today! I saw Cathe’s rotation yesterday and I will skip that one for now too because I really need a lot of cardio.

Hottie: WOW!!!! You did both Imax 2 and 4DS Bootcamp!!! Girl, you ROCK!!!! WTG!!!! Imax 2 alone is a killer, and then you added BC, you go girl!

Vilma: I’m glad to hear you daughter is feeling much better today! Sorry to hear you feel awful today after yesterday’s wine drink. Hope you are feeling much better now.

Vilma, I'm getting back to you sorta late, but it's all I could do.... :) Here's what I plan to do next week:

Monday: yoga
Tuesday: Providence
Wednesday: slim series shape it up (I think -- have to see how I feel after providence)
Thursday: Lauren -- maybe twice through the fat burn or whatever it is
Friday: PUB
Saturday: PLB
Sunday: cc

Think that's too much? I like having my cc day be on the weekend so I can go outside running a little later. I think I still need to get a feel for what the kbells leave me feeling like, but I'm going to try this.

<------- I wish that were me!! I'm so tired. And looks like I will be for the weekend +. My doctor faxed in the WRONG perscription of my thyroid meds, and their office is closed on Fridays, so I'm shit out of luck.

So I brought Jake to the Ped. He examined him up and down and said though he could have sworn he would find pneumonia from his symptoms/prolonged fever, his lungs were clear. I'm supposed to watch him over the weekend, and if he worsens at all, I need to bring him in (THEY are open Saturdays AND Sundays!!!). Of course, this afternoon, his temp spikes back up to 102. And I'm even more worried about the weekend.

Hottie: Enjoy your day off and your day OFF!! You did TWO workouts yesterday, so I'd say you are set. I'm keeping my toe taped at least for another week. that will be 4 weeks. I'm thinking of getting this toe support to wear for the JDRF Walk on Oct. 19th.

Beth: you are so funny about the 8 days a week! I did enjoy my workout today though, it was a good split. I really do think I'm going to continue with your rotation! Hey, enjoy that rain!!!

Vilma: Hope you're feeling better tonight! I'm a total lightweight when it comes to drinking too! But wine doesn't usually make me feel ill the next day, unless it's Merlot. Merlot KILLS me (migraine and barfing). ..... Yeah, I must have missed that memo, Vilma!!! Damn! This week is killing me!... Hey, you know, I never did the premix of PUB/PLB. Why didn't I think of that??? Does it go from one to the other, or does it go in succession! I wish I'd done that!!

Ivy: I love 4DS BC too! It's so fun! I think I like that style all around, because I like DM, which is kind of similar (but tougher I think). Yep, I'm definitely sticking with the xtra cardio rotation this month. I've been doing rotations very similar to Oct 08's, alternating cardio and weights. I need a change up! ... Oh I get my smilies where Vilma showed us! Here:

Chris: Oh no! Do you still have enough Thyroid meds until you get the right one? I hope your son gets better this weekend. That's so great that the ped opens on the weekends!! Keep us posted on how he does.

I love DM too and I agree, it is tougher than BC.
