O.T./ X box question?

Hi everyone,i hope there are some gamers out there who can help,we just got xbox and i was wondering do you have to have a memory unit in order to save games? Thanks in advance for any info!!

My DH says the xbox has a built-in hard drive that will save your games.

The memory units are for when you want to take your "character" from a given game to your friends house (who has the same game) and play on his xbox.

Always happy to save money--mine or someone else's! These game consoles are really getting out of hand with the things they make you THINK you need.

The one thing we found useful though was a controller extension cord to reach from the console to the couch. We have grown WAY past the stage where we enjoy sitting on the floor for hours on end!
