O/T Whining over Weather....

I am suppose to be getting outside in the garden today, but the sun is hiding behind those gloomy clouds and my hands feel like ice at the moment. And I am just not feeling motivated to be out in March-like weather when it is MAY!!! I miss the heat of the sun. Think I am just going to fire up another Cathe workout...Core Max #2 and get some heat from that instead. LOL

What are the summers like in Canada? I have this image of you guys wearing jackets and long pants. How long is your pool weather? I feel so American right now! I don't know a thing about our nearest neighbor! ;( Please forgive me!

Missy

ETA yes, Charlotte! I also want to plant my flowers in warm dirt, not get frostbite! I really am over this weather, I just wish it was over with us!

Oh, our summers are HOT. At least where I am. It's a big country, so it varies. I'm in southern Ontario. It SHOULD be getting warmer by now, but it seems to be taking forever. But we get up into the 90's during July and August, sometimes even into September.

You are forgiven:)

So, it is similar to Indiana. It is 41 F right now, but in three weeks it will probably be 80. Either stay hot, or stay cold dangit! I can't stand this fluctuating! My body can't take anymore!

Thank you for educating me, Shelley! I feel so much smarter now!

here in Michigan we have just been hit by hailstones, crikey!

But the weather report says 70 degrees for Friday, just as I am about to fly to London where no doubt black clouds will hover right over my head.

Ah well

It's cool here in northern Indiana!

Light snow/rain mix today and a freeze warning for late tonight!

Yuck!!!!

I've got gardening to do too!

Better weather is coming though! Thank God!

I hear you! I had the worst cabin fever ever this winter/spring and I actually planted a lot of things when it was so warm in early April. I had a greenhouse set up to start seeds and everything (went all out this year). My greenhouse stuff was 3 inchs tall and got froze out! The greenhouse was perfect because I had an old electric blanket in there on a timer, but the wind caught the plastic one night and blew it up. I could have died. And my carrots and peas and lettuce I planted in the ground was covered with snow and sleet yesterday. Ok, I'm *not from around here* (a Californian living in North Dakota) and I think the locals just shake their heads and laugh. Spring is always bad for me but this year I think I'm ready for the psych ward!
