O/T What Not To Wear...HELP!

O.k., everyone gets to participate. I am trying to find a match here with this skirt. I really don't dress up much so I am clueless...wanna help me here?

I think with that skirt having a split/ruffle, you want a solid top w/ a punch of color, no ruffles, patterns, etc....otherwise it is too much going on. A pretty blue top w/ a flattering cut, just for an example.

I agree. I would go with some kind of solid colored camisole, I think, maybe with a little lace on a v-neck or something. The skirt has a lot going on so you don't want to compete with that (just remember that two fancy things cancel each other out).

Thanks ya'll. Kinda thought so. I never did try on the skirt as I was running out of time so when I looked at it hanging, I did not realized it was split...GOSH! I could not seem to find a simple skirt...they were either jagged along the bottom or split like the one I have.

I sold those jeans on ebay some time ago. I would have liked to kept a pair for myself, but they weren't long enough in the length anyhow. And so no, I don't have anymore..sorry. Thanks for your help though.

I agree. Too much going on on the bottom, you need to simplify on top. I saw some really cute tops at Free People (www.freepeople.com) that would go pretty well w/the skirt.

B for sure! It's spring now and the colors definitely do more for your complexion than the darker colored top.

I just got back from shopping again. Got a v neck black t-shirt type and bought some sandals with semi heels. I think this looks the best.

just to chime in, i think the simple black top looks very good with the skirt. it accentuates your lean body also.

Hi Charlotte, I would say out of all of the 3 I like the plain black V top with the skirt the best. It goes so well. So my vote is I guess it would be Picture C. You always look good no matter what you wear IMO anyhow
