O/T Pimple in nose. Ouch!!

OK. Now I know this is really gross but I've got to know. Does anyone else out there get pimples inside their nose? And don't they hurt like h###? What do you do to get rid of them quicker? It seems like it helps a little when I put a little neosporan ointment on it. I've gotten these before but this one really hurts so much that when I scrunch my nose up my eyes actually water. Any advice??

Sounds more like a cold sore. Try some Anbesol or Oragel, the stuff for teething pain.

I get them, too. I've never had a cold sore before, but that doesn't mean that's not what it is. Maybe I've just always had them where they don't show. And yes, it hurts like the devil!

I have experienced the pain of a pimple inside the nose and that is a major owie! It can be caused by an ingrown nasal hair. What I have found to be effective is to place a hot wash cloth on the outside of my nose, where the pimple is. I do this several times, changing the cloth when it's no longer warm. It sounds gross, but the heat can open the head of the pimple and release the puss inside.

Uh, I've had a few of those. I'd put a little benzoyl peroxide on a cotton swab and apply to the affected area twice a day, just as I would on a regular zit. If it does "explode", I'd dip a cotton swab on a bit of toner to clean it up. I haven't had any of these since I've been on the pill.
