Just got to vent.....
We have a local pool here that is just down the road. In fact, I could ride my bike or just walk there. Convenient in distance. I know there are alot of responsible teenagers out there, but the pool I go to is run only by irresponsible teenagers. And not one adult there at all!
Little children as little as 5 using vocabulary that makes me cringe in horror. Extremely dirty words and hand jesters. Lifeguards who are seldom at their post (only 2). The one lifeguard was laughing at the children who were diving into the pool randomly just over top of someone's head. Running all over the place too. I am thinking I will see blood soon. Gosh! There wasn't anyone there responsible at all to complain to, and the town is thinking about closing down the pool...hmmm, I wonder why???
There is another pool in a another town that is further away...20 mins. So much nicer with responsible teenage lifeguards. Clean and organized and with a water fountain. Think I will be going there for now on.
