O/T: Glytone

Anyone have any luck with this skin product? I have tried several. Strivectin seems to make wrinkles worse, in my opinion and others simply just don't do squat. I went to a dermatologist and got solage...$90. Another dermatologist highly recommends glytone and swears by it. Her skin does look quite good, but again, she is a dermatologist and maybe doing other things to for her skin.

I've never tried that. I'm using RetinA now, which helps both my "adult" pimples and wrinkles... but my insurance co wouldn't help at all with the $ (over $100).

Wow, i got a pretty big tube at the pharmacy for 50...
It is tough though. Some days i have to lay off because i get red bumps.
The PSurgeon gave me a script. I am having to use a skin slouthing lotion. My skin is really peeling alot.
He told me to use a good moisturizer.

Charlotte, I use both Retin A (which should not cost $100)and Glytone. I am pleased with the results for wrinkles. But I have also had a TCA peel and do monthly Glycolic Acid peels to maintain. Do you have pigment? The reason I ask is you mentioned Solage and that is used mostly for pigment. If you have pigment you want gone Obagi has a wonderful skin care line. However $$$$ it'll run you over $400 for the system.

You also have to take in consideration where the wrinkles are and what are causing them. For instance wrinkles in the glabella region (between the eyebrows) will respond best to botox.

delfin....I use RetinA Microgel, and if my dermatologist sends my insurance a form saying I use it for adult acne (I do) then the insurance covers it. It just has to be done every year...:)

I swear by Renova. It's RetinA with a moisturizer in it. Make by the same manufacturer. Also high $$$ but well worth it, IMHO.
