O/T...Does the Tooth Fairy...

Ok, apparently my youngest DS is running all the mysteries of the Universe through his brain before he undergoes surgery on Wednedsday.:7

Wil's conversation while snuggled in bed with me early this morning touched on many unanswered questions, but apparently this is important to him. He asked that I ask all of you this question because "the Cathe Forum is where you get all of your questions answered, right Mom?".

"Does the Tooth Fairy know Santa Claus?"

We will check back later for any and all insight you knowledgable people have to offer.

Comming from a kids (teens;-)) point of view, when I was younger I thought the tooth fairy lived at santas workshop and was known as Mrs.Clauses knitting partner:+ LOL I know this sounds really stupid but us kids has strange minds when we were young..er..LOL:7

As far as I know, they only see each other once a year: June 24. It's the day before Santa has to get cracking on Christmas preparations, and the Tooth Fairy spirals her way from the South Pole to the North Pole on that night and that night only (other nights she spirals North to South).

Although they enjoy each other's company, they only see each other while at work on the night they both work (you can figure out which day of the year that is!). They don't ever see each other in the same house on the same night- they plan it out beforehand so they don't both have to be inside at the same time and risk making too much noise and waking someone up.

Santa has all his teeth and the Tooth Fairy doesn't have any kids, so they don't go to each other's houses on business.

At least that's what they told me when I asked them twelve years ago.

Who helps Santa find out who is naughty or nice? Why, the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy, of course! Kids are so cute and fun, aren't they? I love the things they think of!

Did none of you SEE the Santa Clause 2 with Tim Allen?????? It was the tooth fairy that saved the day - of course they know each other! (BTW - Santa Clause 3 comes out this year with Martin Short as Jack Frost - looks hysterical!)

Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and a Leprechan all hang out together on Friday nights playing poker.

As I understand it, they all vacation together in the tropics, sometime between Christmas and Easter. Mrs. Claus and the TF love to go shopping and Santa and E.Bunny spend a lot of time on the links. Mr. Leprechan stays back at the condo, whipping up wonderful dinners for the others. They spend their evenings watching old movies, playing cards and discussing certain children who have been either exceptionaly naughty or nice. Sometimes Phil, the groundhog goes along, but since he always has to cut his vacation short, sometimes he just stays in his den at home.

"I hope they know eachother! Maybe when Santa brings us our toys, maybe the toothfairy goes to other houses. I think that the toothfairy goes to Santa's house on Christmas."

He then asked me if we could ask Santa on the computer!

I have three grandsons, and all of them say yes, the Tooth Fairy knows Santa Claus.

The Tooth Fairy knows everyone that has teeth, because the Tooth Fairy is the one that retrieves the teeth under peoples pillows. The Fairy even goes to Never Never Land for the teeth of Tinker bell, Peter Pan and everyone else that lives there. Also, the Tooth Fairy goes to the North Pole and retrieves everyones teeth there, including Santa's when he was a boy. They got to know each other very well.
