I am so ticked right now and I have no one else to yack at.

DH is (of course) dying with the cold...aren't they all when they get it? So he has been useless to me all day. My day starts off with my MIL wanting her hair done, not a big deal...we set the time and place and it was all a go. DS woke up last night from 1:30-3:30 so we slept in until 10. That's when my MIL woke me up. I put a color in her hair and cut my FIL's hair. My parents then blow in to town b/c my sister was arriving today and they want their hair done as well. Just as well...Im at it.

While I am doing that, my mother decides to start some laundry that doesn't need to be done, I did laundry yesterday. We get ready and go to the airport. After that I have to pick up DD's cake and b-day stuff. I bring DS home to DH, long enough for me to run out and pick up supplies for 20 people. When I get home, he leaves to go watch hockey but he has been dying all day, then DD tells me (she is 14 kinda planned this herself) that only 6 people are coming and that when she told me 20 people were coming it was a joke! Are you f'ing kidding me? What kind of joke is that? So I have just went out and spent $150 on 5 kids!!?? I was sooo mad! Now...DS is super whiny and I have to clean my house plus finish the laundry that my mother had no business starting, in the end just making more work for me!

I am soooo mad at everyone! I really need to look and see what TTOM was here last. I told DD that if she wanted to rent movies and order pizza then she has to spend her own money cause Im not spending another dime and enjoy her last party!

Take a deep breath. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Slowly.

Kids say the darndest things and don't realize what a problem they are actually causing. When we were kids, my cousin told a social worker that there was nothing to eat in her home. That caused CPS to be called. My Auntie was livid because there is always food in her home, the kitchen is spotless and perfect. Needless to say, when CPS came by they inspected the kitchen, they were stunned by how well put together everything was. Apparently, they had told my auntie that if she didn't properly feed her child, the child would be taken away. My point is that lots of 14 year olds are actually nutso, its not personal, she is just at that age. If it makes you feel better, now that both myself and my cousin are adults we are much easier to be around and nobody has said that kind of crazy stuff in 15 years.

Hugs.
