Nuwave Oven

Yes, and YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!

My (now) ex BF bought me a NuWave for Christmas 2 years ago and I LOVE IT! I use it practically every single day, and now the only reason I use my oven is to bake something that's too large to fit in the NuWave, like 2 trays of cookies, muffins, roasting pan, etc. I LOVE IT! It's tied for the top spot of most-used kitchen gadget in my house (my Oster Steamer is the other top competitor! LOL).

The NuWave is an awesome addition to any kitchen if you want a fast, easy and easy-to-clean-up way of eating healthy. I put anything and EVERYthing in there....even FROZEN chicken breast or tilapia fillet. EVERYthing! Pizza is the BEST reheated in there, and I've made burgers, steaks, a chicken roaster, even a 15# turkey!!! I've put whole potatoes in there to bake, plus sliced veggies to sort of 'grill' them. It's just AWESOME!

I love it so much that I bought both my sis and my mom one for BDays and THEY love it as well.

Think I like it? HECK YEAH! :D:):p;):D

I'm so glad you like it. I'm going to get one. I've been experimenting with clean eating (no sugar, white flour, certain oils, etc) for the past 3 weeks and have lost 4 1/4 inches overall. I need something that is fast and that I can cook foods from their frozen state, especially during the week when I don't feel like making cooking a big production. Thanks so much!

I'm actually no my second one already, really love it. I don't bake, but I do a lot of grilling in it.

I have one and found some things cooked well in it and some didn't. My dd gave it to me when my oven quit. I couldn't cook thicker cuts of meats. Baked cookies were only ok. (not that I should be baking those) Moisture stays inside so baked goods cannot be left sitting inside of it for very long. It is best IMO for thinner cuts of meats, and grilled veggies, works great for baked potatoes, it is a time saver for the right things. I think that there is a little learning on how to use it and getting times right. I made meat loaf in it but had to make it a little thinner to get it to cook right.

Diane Sue, good point. Steaks that are really thick, say an inch (that's my DS eating those, lol), do stay pink inside (but he likes them that way), and if you cook it to cook it till well done, the outside may get a bit crispy. HOWEVER, I have added the extender ring which raises the cooking element higher and THAT solved that problem.

Cookies, yeah, they don't bake so well in there. And that's a GOOD THING! :p

The other really nice thing, FOR ME, is that I don't mind cooking 3 different things for dinner. Admittedly, I'm a picky eater with my clean eating and which protein I eat which nights. So on nights when my kids want, say kielbasa or Bratwurst, I'll make myself chicken at the same time in there. Does that make sense?

Gayle, that makes sense to me. I make dh something totally different than me a lot of the time. Also when I feed grandchildren I usually have a third meal item going. Thanks for a heads up on the extender:D I don't need those cookies but without a working oven the cookie dough we bought from grandchildren's funraiser needed a place to be cooked LOL
