November rotation check-in Sunday 6

Hi good morning everyone, today I finish the first week of this Cathe's rotation. Today I will substitute the 20 minutes of running with the cardio premix of KPC and the blast challenge of Kickmax and I will do PUB. I will add TJ 20 minutes workout and stationary bike.I will have the rest day tomorrow.

Good Morning Mariangeles and all who follow!

Yesterday was PUB/20 min. run. I did a longer walk in place of the run.

Today is PLB/20 min. run.

Tomorrow is KPC , which I don't have. Any ideas for a good substitution? I have all the Cathe DVD's (except ab hits and kickmax), a treadmill and bike. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey girls,

I am confused on which check-ins are which. they are being posted different every day. Is this one supposed to be Nov. personal rotation? Just wondering.:)

Today I start week 2 of my rotation, which is S&H chest and PS legs floorwork x3. I also will have that sinful cake today cause my kids are 14 today. Boy time goes by so fast!

Becky~ I'm not good with subbing. I would probably do LowMax or SB since they work the legs good.

Well, I was afraid to weigh in this morning but I bit the bullet and to my happy suprise I am down to 145! I have not been in the 140's since before I was pregnant 7 years ago.
People have been asking me if I'm doing Atkins or South beach and it's like NO. Get it thru your heads. I eat clean and I workout with Cathe. RELIGIOUSLY. My SIL said last night, are you still on your diet? I said I don't diet. And she just said "oh". She goes up and down like a see saw with her weight. She also said it rots losing weight at our age because everything just hangs. I just laughed. Nothing hanging here Sweetheart!

Thanks for letting me blab. If it weren't for all of you I wouldn't be where I'm at today. I'm so grateful and happy that we are all in this together!

Yeah Kali, I am watching the race at 4 0'clock this afternoon. We are doing all the b-day celebrating before then and after. They have had a good weekend celebrating their b-day. so we will take them out for bkf this morning and I will exercise when I get home.


I am liking the rotation I have made for myself. It is not necessarily toward a goal other than keeping me consistent and breaking the boredom. That is why each week I am doing different upperbody workouts and kind of mish moshing it. Maybe next month I will set a strengh goal.

Im doing my own rotation that I made up that is focusing on UB but it also has its share of cardio and LB as well.
So today I am doing KM and GS T,B,S...I think I am going to get some ab work in there as well.

Today was KPC for me and I did KM Blast challenge. I'm starting from week two, and I changed it up a little. I think I like KPC better than KM. But I love the KM Blast challenge.

Becky I think you can substitute KPC using CK or another kickboxing workout adding a Cathe´s core segment at the end of the workout.

My workout is almost done. I have done PUB, 45 mnutes of stationary bike and the cardio premix of KPC.Have a great rest of the day everyone.Tomorrow will be a rest day for me. I can't wait to start the week 2 of the rotation.

But I wrote it wrong. Tomorrow is not KPC, it's Kickmax.... I always hear KPC and CK are not good subs for that one.........
is that true?

I need a sub for KM. Thanks.:)
 
Hi girls! I found you again! I guess the personal rotation title isn't happenening and that's OK. I will check in here and that is great! Today I used kickmax, and it was OK. I have to force mysilf to do kickbox as I just feel like I look foolish when I do the moves. I know nobody is watching me, but I also know that I don't look like Cathe and the crew! So, long story short, I only do kick box WO when they're on a rotation.

Hey Kali enjoy your weight loss - such a nice boost to the self esteem!
Becky, why don't you sub with something heavy on the legwork like lomax.

Hey girls,

Just finished doing S&H chest and PS legs floorwork x3. Let me tell you the leg part is grueling! I used ankle weights the first two times and without the third time. My inner thighs are twitching!


Mariangeles- You had a great workout today, I love the PUB workout. I think I have that in my third week rotation. I might next month put that in every week for that month.


Terri- I thought maybe we could have it this coming friday. Maybe those who check in this thread or not can join us! Just let me know if that is convenient for you. I think this would be good to do at least once a month.

Hey ladies,

Just let us know if you would like to do the coremaxathon next friday. Not sure about time yet, but maybe sometime in the morning. We do all three coremax segments in one workout session. Hope you can join us! I think terri and I have done it two or three times and kali joined us last month. I still only go 21/2 segments. I will make it all the way through this time!

Kim PUB is awesome.

Becky I think you can substitute the 4 combinations of KM with the punching and kicking combinations of KPC. You can substitute the blast challenge with the cardio premix of bootcamp. The leg conditioning drills is the most difficult part to substitute. I thing you can use the kickbox premix of bootcamp.Hope this helps.

I just finished my workout and the first week of the November rotation. I did the step portion of SJP and PUB. I second/third everyone who loves that workout. I haven't done Kickmax yet - so I am looking forward to that workout tomorrow.

Kali - Congrats on the weight loss! That feels so good when you get surprised with something like that! Keep up the awesome work!
