November Fat Loss

Quick check in. Have you both finished disc 7 yet? It must win "the most push ups" award for STS. I think I actually started to growl during the last few sets. This morning I did Amy Bento's In the Ring. DH wants us to try Pedal Power tonight. I'll have to finally tear off the shrink wrap, I hear it's a good one.

I really enjoyed the 30 Day BR challenge and have decided to do it again! Yesterday was Day 1 and today was Day 2! I'm working from home today and hope to do the next STS disc, which for me is 10-CSB.

The bathroom is 98% done. DH needs to fix the closet door he took off which he didn't need to. Other than that, it is done until I have the budget to replace the light bar...hopefully in a few more weeks.

Last night was the best Holiday Meltdown Class so far. We've been doing a lot of bosu and tubing...not my favorite...and not nearly enough cardio IMO. This was the Happy Thanksgiving w/o. I'm not typing it all out, but was 1 lap, 1 lap 2 stairs, 1 lap 2 stairs 10 pushups....keep on going each time adding 10 pullups, 10 burpees, 20 squats, 20 bicep curls, 20 lunges, 25 kb swings, 20 bicycles, 20 tricep extensions. I know I missed a couple, but it took over an hour to complete!

Tina-yes, finished disc 7. Is that the one where we have to do 30 pushups??? I recall having to drop to my knees on this one. I want the new Fitbit Force too. Not sure if I want to spring for it though right now. Let me know what you think of Pedal Power. I haven't tried that one yet. I only spin at the rec ctr.

Hi Ladies,

What's everyone up to? We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at my SIL's visiting with family and friends! Normally I go black Friday shopping, but this year there was nothing I really needed to get. With the kids being older we won't have the expense that we've had in the past.

We did book the flights for my darling granddaughters...yes, they will be here for Christmas this year!!! I'm super excited about that. I think Santa will be bringing them bikes this year! Their mom wants us to get them snowboards, but I want something they can keep here and use too.

I completed STS week 4 but may do this week again. My bicep and shoulder strength specifically seem to be lacking. I did pretty good on B&T and Legs. Perhaps just that one disc again.

Today I plan on going on a short bike ride with my training partner. It's a test to see if her hip is okay and if my knee doesn't hurt too bad clipping out of the pedal.

Hey girls - It's been a few months since I've been active on the Fat Loss checkin here on the board. I am excited to be back and have started us a new thread for December! Hope nobody minds that I did that! :)
