Not enough time/MIS

I only have 50 minutes to w/o in the am. If I do MIS, I find I can't get through the entire tape in this time (I do have to rest sometimes between sets). Anyway, my question is this. If I get through the legs and the chest, back and shoulder sections,(sometimes I don't get through the shoulders) Is it ok to leave the triceps and biceps (and sometimes shoulders) for the afternoon after work? Am I getting the maximum gains? What about PH and the PS series. I've just ordered these and now I'm concerned. Any input is appreciated.

RE: Try a split routine with MIS. . .

Split the workout in half. I do lower body & chest on one day, then the next day I do upper body with back exercises.

This also allows me some time to add cardio afterwards.

p.s. You'll still need to add in a warmup/stetch before doing the upper body workout.

Hi Elaine! Yes, it is fine to split this up if necessary. I would suggest doing legs, chest back, and then add on a cool down strech. Then for the second workout I would do a warm up of five minutes for upper body, and then pick up with shoulders and do the rest of the MIS workout.

For PS Series, the upper body tapes are right around 47 to 50 minutes long so you should be okay there. The leg tape is an hour so I would do the first half of the tape up to the calf work. Then for the second workout, add your own warm up and then do the rest of the leg tape.

Power Hour can be split up but I do not think that you would enjoy the workout as much. It is the rhythm and pace of this workout that contributes to its fun factor. Also, while your muscles would be challenged the same way splitting this workout, the calorie burn, which varies per individual, would not be the same.

Good Luck!

Thanks so much Cathe. You know, it makes me feel so special that you take the time to respond to my personal questions. I'm a devoted fan for life! Thanks!
