Northern New York/PA GTG - April 22nd

Confirming that I will be in Rochester sometime before noon on the 22. I will be spending the night. If someone needs a roomie, I will come alone. If no one needs a roomie, I'm trying to lure my DH to come along. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do another GTG overnight this summer, unless of course it is Cathe's. It all depends on dates and locations, as I'm sure is the case for all other interested parties. A trip to the Big Apple or Niagra Falls would be devine some where down the road.
 
Is there interest in the italian restaurant I mentioned tath is great but far. Or how about a mediterranean restaurant more centrally located?

My suggestion is the centrally located one for simplicity.

Mediterranean sounds fantastic.

I won't be staying over.:( I have a family brunch on the Sunday morning. I do plan to shop in the afternoon and then hang around for dinner though!
 
I'm planning on attending.....but...noon? Y'all are going to make me get up at the crack of dawn? Yikes! I will probably stay over too...which hotel?

Nancy: Albany in the early summer sounds like a great idea! I would even enjoy a NYC get together...I haven't been down to the city in ages!

ETA: The University of Rochester is moving to the top of DS#2's college list. They just offered him a nice scholarship!

I think Nancy is on to something and we should definately plan a GTG that is closer for those of us closer to (or in) the NYC area!:+

I thought you would feel that way, Wendy. You could probably even do it in a day trip if need be. I'm thinking Debbie would have no problem with NYC. I also think it would be doable for Melody, and maybe Michele as well? If there's no road trip this year, I'll tell you that New York City virtually empties out in the late summer. Despite the heat, it's a great time to be here....
