Actually, "okara" is the specifc term used for the pulp from soybeans (might refer to other beans as well, but I don't think so). What's left of nuts after the 'milk' is extracted is just 'pulp'(though there should be a cuter/tastier name for it!)
The macademia/coconut cookies turned out really good! Now, I'm thinking of emulating some raw cookies I bought once: almond, coconut, raw chocolate nibs. I've got the almonds soaking as we 'speak'!
