Hi there!
Affirm, I'm doing Volume 5 today. Volumes 1 and 3 yikes! No, I won't be doing those probably ever ha ha. My closet is full of those killers (I also have tough tape, standing legs, tough aerobic mix, etc. and I don't even think about picking them up lol!) I'm going to do Volumes 4-6 along with some low impact Cathe cardio for about 2 weeks so no heavy weight work yet and no strenous cardio for me yet either. I really like the progression of Vols 5 and 6 but I have to modify some of the moves when I do Vol 4, I pause the tape sometimes to make weight changes because they do it so quickly, and I don't do the ab section or stretch section (I do a stretch max section instead). By the way, I hope your son is much better now.
Catherine, yes I did check out that site. Very informative. I put it in my favorites for future reference. If I could afford it I'd get the assisted pull-up machine (a girl can dream right? ). I could do pull-ups with that machine, but I don't belong to a gym anymore so I have to learn how to modify until I can do them. I'd love to lose my last 10 lbs before I can attempt them. I know that will help me as well. Oh boy, you got the squat rack in place already? DH did a great job! If your 6ft barbell doesn't fit, mine is not going to fit either which means that if I see it at Walmart and buy it I'll need to buy a 7 ft barbell as well. Oh my! I'll keep on saving I guess... I hope you can get back on track with your workouts.
