Maggie - That's what I did last night when it was paper work time. I sat down with like 3 different drinks surrounding me, skim milk, water w/ splash of pure cranberry & water, figure if I needed to do something that would keep me out of trouble. Worked last night anyway!

Alicia - Did you stay away from the cake? Tell the truth. Anyway, I laughed when I read your post. Cake is probably the one thing I don't like! LOL! So thinking that it could be some else's weakness just made me smile.


Lori - I know you can get through work!


Come on everyone I know we can beat this! I for one am tired of my workout results being wasted because I can't eat right.

Today is going rather well other than the honey in my tea :9 it sure is tasty! I have a feeling the weekend will be a challenge as there is an opened box of chocolates in my pantry. So far I'm winning, let's see what tomorrow brings. Today is my one day off a week and tomorrow I'm doing LIS and maybe MM too depending on how I'm feeling

Welcome, welcome, welcome everybody! Today I am happy to report that I didn't eat sweets all day. However I got my hair cut and I definitely don't want to ruin it with sweat so no workouts for me today. I probably won't work out until Sunday or Monday because I'm going out and I want to keep my hair looking good for a couple of days. :7 To all the new ladies I have to say that this check-in has worked for me and I hope it works for all of you as well. When we started in Jan '07 I was 145lbs (a year before that I was a lot heavier than that) and as of today I am around 128. I should be 115-120 due to my small frame and my height but it has been difficult to lose those last few pounds. However I've maintained my weight loss for 2 years now and without this check-in I probably would've gain most of my weight back. I hope you're here to stay and maybe in a short time you'll have success as well. :)

Linda - I did have some cake! It was good too:9 Darn it! It was funny, cause I forced my secretary to take the left overs home with her. Temptation won x(

Rose11 - that is so great about your weight loss!! You just encouraged me. I would like to loose 5 pounds. But, boy, those last few pounds are tough! That is so wonderful to hear that you've kept it off too :) Keep up the great work.

Since its been a few weeks since no sweets & sugar(well, less a few breakdowns) I find for me, I feel (energy wise) so much better. I am holding on to that feeling, to help me thru those temptations.

Lori, HI!!! :7 :7 :7 I have been uberbusy. I don't know if I told you, but we home school now so that takes a lot of time away from... well, from everything! ;) I can't tell you how much I love it, though. It feels like I am going to school again, but this time I actually like it because it is fun!

Alicia, darned that temptation. I would like to send it to you know where. With all the cake and brownies.

Catherine, I consider beer clean food. It is made with barley so it MUST be good for you, right? :p

Linda, I am with you on the wasted results. I am the biggest brownie/cake/pastry junkie. I did no sugar right before DH and I went on vacation last year and not only did I visibly lose fat, I also had so much more energy. I don't know why I am having a harder go this time.

Maggie, did you say chocolate?

This week I had awesome workouts, and yesterday I did have one Cadbury Creme Egg - but that was it! That is such a huge victory for me. Today DH and I are going out on a date; we will probably be going out for sushi so I don't have to worry about pigging out on junk. Can I just say how awesome it is to be welcomed so warmly? Thank you for letting us join you! :D Now I am off to do 3 miles and some Yoga for Happiness. Have a great day all!

Afternoon Ladies,

Well I did have some chocolate yesterday, just three small squares, but it's 88% cocoa dark chocolate sweeten with a small amount of beet sugar. That makes it a health food right?:p Anyway the trick for me is to make sure I stop after the three squares and not eat more or worse let that trigger me to switch to the bad chocolate loaded with refined sugar. I am happy to say I stopped yesterday!:D

I did cardio this morning and chose IMAX 3 Blasts Only then did the Blast Only add on from LIC.

I did well today except a popsicle. I think that hardly counts :p I did heavy legs this morning and a 30 min step routine this evening.

Hey Ladies,

I am sending a great big THANK YOU! I had some m&m's in my hands earlier today and two things hit me. One, if I ate them I knew I wouldn't stop and second, I realized that I would then have to come tell you guys! And well, I just could not face that! So I put them down and walked away! I was not ready to admit defeat! So thank you, had you not been here I would have eaten them and a whole bunch more then just been completely miserable instead.

Good Morning Ladies!

Just wanted to let you know I am still around! LOL Checking in will become a regular thing. I will read personnals to get to know everyone a bit better when I get to work! Yep...work again!;( But my boss isn't around so I am hoping to throw myself into my cross sticth today!

Yesterdays workout was a 10 mile run and PUB. Boy, am I sore. Im up to do a workout before work but I have no clue what I am doing.

Hey Ladies!

I must say that having someone to answer to is really working! THANK YOU!! I have not given in to that box of chocolates, which is a little surprising because I was sure I would cave by now;-) Thank you all again! I did have a few drinks last night so had to come clean about that :(
Yesterday I did 4DS LIS and today I thinking Boot Camp weights only and some form of step cardio. I'm bad at sticking with a rotation, I tend to switch things up based on my mood. But I guess that's better than not doing anything at all, right?
It's great to hear from the rest of you and know that we're in this together.
