Morning chiquitas!

I did really well yesterday. Got all my water in, no salty snacks and only 1 cookie:)

Today should be good as we're going out for the afternoon so there's no temptation calling to me from the pantry!

Morning!

I did well yesterday too. Got my water, no salty junk. The only thing I bad was a non fat frozen yougurt. We took the boys for ice cream last night. That's actually good for me as a month ago when we went I had a huge chocolate sundae w/ reg. ice cream! So that is progress!

Yesterday was a great day, except for the tub of buttered popcorn, but I already told you I was going to do that. We saw Fantastic Four. It was alright. The Human Torch was AWESOME! He was cracking Dan and I up! Anyhoo...

Yesterday I did fine...in fact I'm amazed at some of the food choices I am making...and LIKING!:eek: :eek: :eek:

Today will be fine....have to go to MIL's house again....I'll eat healthy just to piss everyone off}( }( }( }( !!!

Yep I did ok yesterday:) I did have a fat free sugar free frozen yogurt but that doesn't count as bad in my book. Oh I bought one of those small blenders that Denise told us about awhile back! I am so excited to start making smoothies today! I bought a bunch of fresh and frozen fruit and skim milk so I am set:) This should keep me from any bad food thoughts today.

My sons were just eating Doritos & I ALMOST had one but I put it down! Yay for me! It is just amazing how if you just put your mind to it you can say no to that bad stuff!!! Motivation from the check in helps a lot too. 2 weeks ago I could not say NO to anything.

So far so good for me today. No salty snacks in the house. No sweets today. Plenty of water as usual. Definitely got the water in with my over-two-hour w/o today!!
 
Hey everyone,

I have come back from the beach a few hours ago and had to chat with the girls. I had a blast, but now it is time to get on my healthy eating and exercising. As far as the no sweets,salt, and water, I sucked! I was horribly with all of them,but tomorrow is my new beginning. Cause tonight we're ordering in pizza and I will not cook. I'm exhausted!!

Tomorrow I will start the no sweets, salt and water increase.


I have come back with a tan and about 5 or more pounds. Just kidding, but I actually don't know. Would not be surprised!!

My favorites were chocolate milk shakes, pizza, and wine coolers. Yuck! Yuck! This is nasty to me now!

I just wanted to say I've been reading this thread for the last week or so and you guys inspire me! I think it's great! Actually, it got to the point where I actually tried to follow you guys yesterday--I modified my own version and said "no dessert" or "junk food" and I actually did it! So far, I'm good today--right now...tomorrow, well..that may be a different story;-) Thanks again.

I'm doing well sticking to my challenge of No Sweets. Of course being on a 3 Day Detox has been helpful. :p hehehe Now I crave fruit instead of chocolate or cookies- sure hope this lasts! :D

Shelley- I didn't know you were bi-lingual! lol Glad you're doing so well. Hope you're enjoying your afternoon outing.

Kali- Whoohooo for progress! I personally don't think that nonfat frozen yogurt counts as a "sweet" anyway- especially when eaten with your kids. ;) :p

Missy- Mmmm, my mouth is now watering thinking about that tub of movie popcorn! I'll have to pop some up tomorrow night as a treat for myself. ;) Glad you enjoyed your date night!

Tammy- LOL, sometimes it can be really fun to eat really healthy just to irritate other people. I do that sometimes, too. But shhh! don't tell anyone, ok? ;)

Terri- You're doing terrific! Enjoy that smoothie maker! :)

Jane- Whoohooo, girlie!! It's SO much easier to avoid sweet and salty snacks when they aren't nearby, isn't it? Way to strategize!!

I have been still doing fairly well. I have been away with friends and you know how much food everyone brings for a long weekend!! Yikes! I only had a few baked chips here and there (maybe 10 the whole weekend). I avoided the cool ranch Doritos and even the honey pretzels. I brought a ton of fruit and snacked on that when I had the urge.

I did slip in the calorie department with 3 margaritas, at about 150 calories each, and a few beers, too. And we all went for ice cream and I had a small chocolate peanut butter cone.

Overall I am satisfied with my weekend, since I didn't totally overdo it, just a few small indulgences (except the alcohol :(

And I kept up with my running, doing about 3 miles each morning along the beach! That has to be worth at least ONE of those margaritas!!

This is WAY better than the me from May, thanks to our challenges and checking in each day.

Today was hard. I didn't have time to go to the grocery store yesterday or today so I'm out of healthy food to eat. I've been trying to improvise, because I'm not going to starve myself, but it has been hard not to cheat (all that's left around me is junk food I don't eat). Tomorrow it's going to be hell too because I don't have time to go to the grocery store until I get out of work so I won't have any healthy snacks or a healthy lunch to take with me. Ugh! That means I'm going to eat a not so healthy lunch tomorrow. Oh well. I have the rest of the week to eat like I'm supposed to.
