Okay, let's just pretend yesterday never happened and start fresh, okay? Ugh. I did NOT do well yesterday. I had two cookies, and then my SO bought french fries at the lake (those really good homemade kind), then we had ice cream for dessert in honour of my Mom's birthday. I feel gross today.

But I'm determined to do better this week!:)

How's everyone else doing?

Hey shelley,

Yes I'm starting new today since I ate horribly at the beach. I haven't eaten yet due to I don't have any food in my house. I always eat earlier than now. Me and my DH are going to the grocery store in a little while. But I'm aiming for no sweets, salt and definitely increasing my water intake. Lets see how it goes.

I want to join in with this challenge. I had a terrible weekend also for sweets (icecream, cookies, and I think a brownie was in there too somewhere!) AUGHHHH! Anyway, I have my highschool reunion coming up in 3 weeks, and I would like to drop 5 pounds before that comes. I don't know why I waited for 3 weeks away to start this, but oh well, I think I needed the pressure. I'm still carrying some post-baby weight (about 10 pounds), so I think losing 5 pounds in 3 weeks is pretty reasonable! Here is to a non-sweet, less salt and a whole lotta water day!!!

I just have one question...

Why, oh why, did I bake 9 dozen cookies yesterday?? I should have halved the recipe so that I would not have all those extra cookies sitting on the kitchen counter, staring at me, beckoning to me. I had 3 of them. After dinner. Plus the one I had after the first batch came out of the oven. Plus a little bit of cookie dough. It's very dangerous to bake cookies. I will never do it again! *fingers crossed behind back* ;)

Well, today is a new day. I don't have any of those cookies with me here at work. Just healthy fruits and veggies. But when I get home, who will stop me from eating the cookies????

Water-check this one is easy fro me
No Salty Snaks-Check
No Sweets-Check

That was yesterday so I am hoping for another good day today. You guys seem to have a positive and healthy attitude. Mess up one day but then get right back on track. Good fo you!

Hi Guys!
Doing AOK here.
Didn't get all my water yesterday, but had no sweets or salty junk.

I ate at night which is on my list to avoid too, but that's the first time in over a week for me which is a big improvement. I'll get back to it today.

Keep up the good work ladies.
Kali

Doing good so far today. It's sooo hot so it's easy to drink a lot of water.

Terri, we didn't catch the movie yet. We're definatley going to see it though. We're going away for a week in August with my cousin and his 6 yr.old too, so maybe I'll wait and that could be one we see if we have bad weather or one night while we're there. We're going from Sat. to Sat. so that's a long time w/ 2 6 yr.olds & a 7yr. old. For me anyhow.

Hope everyone's drinking and not eating anything bad!!!!}(

I've been doing good so far, but the day is not over yet. I'm determined to eat well this week. I cheated on Saturday and Sunday x(

LOL, Emily! It is dangerous to bake cookies!

I am doing well today. I am on track for my water and no sweets or salt. I did have some birthday cake yesterday, but I said no to the ice cream. I even scraped the frosting off the cake and only had about 5 bites (even though I was probably entitled to have a little more!!).

I will be on the beach soon and I want to look good in my 2 piece!! 5 more pounds by Saturday??!! :) kidding, of course!

So far so good today. Yesterday I had a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, and cheese and Triscuts and wine with friends in the evening. But the scales were good to me this morning.

I did Step Jump & Pump this morning for the first time in ages. It killed me!

RE: No sweets, salt, more water check in - July 11, 200...

Hello everyone,

I just joined this challenge so here goes. Yesterday, I fell short by about 16 oz of water. However, I've discovered that the little half pint bottles of Polland Spring water are making it easier for me to meet my goal rather than the 16.9 liter. I guess it's because I'm more likely to finish the bottle. I was in the mall yesterday and I was on the boderline of starving (I don't know why I didn't pack a snack) and I got a pack of Gold Rod (I think that the name of it) Honey Wheat pretzels. It had a little green "smart choice" sticker on it. Given my options, I guess that wasn't to bad. Did well for dinner. After dinner, I had craving for something sweet and I just had some strawberries with my own homemade whipped cream. I must admit it was delicious. I was a little leary about the whipped cream but hey --at least it was homemade. I woke up in the middle of the night for something sweet and I just grabbed a few strawberries and a little whipped cream. This is a big improvement for me since I usually reach for Teddy Grams. Anyway, sorry for the long post...

Thanks,

Katrina

Yeah...about the only thing I did right today was drink plenty of H20. I have been grazing since I got home from work.....I think I'm nervous about the roadtrip. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...LOL!

The after my 3 Day Detox, and all is well. I truly feel cleansed. It's very interesting. And my resolve is solidified to keep away from sweets for July- and probably beyond. ;)

Everyone is doing so well, it's motivating and inspiring.
