I posted this in Cathe forum, but maybe you girls can help. I have been doing the beginner rotation for 2 weeks I'm on the 3rd week and Iam not seeing any results. I don't like working abs just 2 days a week, so what do you suggest for ab routines that might give me the results I want. I eat fairly healthy alot of salads fruits and lowfat meals and snacks. All help appreciated.

First of all, I think it is going to take at least a couple of weeks to see results from whatever new routine you are doing, so don't get discouraged just yet.

I don't see any harm in adding in a third or fourth day of abs if you want to.

Good luck!!

I do abs three times a week, so I don't see any harm in adding an extra day.

And it generally takes longer than 2 or 3 weeks to see results from a routine - sometimes as long as 6. Be patient. Sounds like you're on the right track:)

Definetely don't lose faith after only 2 or 3 weeks. You will have to continue working hard for (unfortunately :)) at least 6 weeks before you begin to see results. You sound like you're doing great, so hang in there!

Everyone here is very knowleadgable and encouraging so keep posting if you need more "oomph" to keep up your workouts and clean eating. Keep going! You're doing awesome. I promise you that if you keep at it, you'll see results. Cathe's workouts are the best in the field. She won't let ya down!!! ;)

If you're new to weight training, it may take a while to see results, as the first adaptations the body makes to lifting are neuro-muscular: that is, your body first learns how to have better communication between the brain and the muscles so they can lift more. After this period, you will actually start to build new muscle fibers.
