Hey, where have all the haters gone? I'm back from WA, but I guess Michele still has a couple days left in Italy. And who knows when August will be back.

My trip was lovely, as some of you who heard me go on and on over on the <--thread each day all ready know. I did manage to fit in a cardio workout 3 days and went hiking on 2 others, so it wasn't a totally slothful vacation.

Corrie, I spent a day in Nelson. Nice town. We spent the night in Ainsworth and I loved "taking the waters." The lake and mountains are breathtaking.

Diane, how are you feeling?

Dana, are you still swamped?

Shelley, when are your concerts?

Today's workout was PUB. I didn't do any weight training beyond a couple pushups, so I really felt I needed to start back with something like this.
 
Hi Robin. I guess the haters are all busy right now. I'm glad to hear that you had an awesome trip. You and I seriosly need to get together. Let me know when you are off during the week and I can take a vacation day so we can walk. I have 10 vacation days left and will be getting 15 more come July 1st. Plus I have 4 personal days too. I don't have a life so I'm here at work all the time. LOL

Yep, I'm swamped at work. I am only taking 15 min for lunch today so I can leave 15 min early. Gabe won a bike in a raffle so I'm going to pick that up after work. He is so excited about it.

My DH got me 3 bottles of wine. A friend of his went to the wineries in NY (not sure which ones). The first bottle was just what I love - very sweet. I have no idea what kind it was though. I think that the other 2 are the same, just different flavors.

Yep, Michele is still in Italy. I heard from August today and she just got back from a working weekend.

I haven't done a workout in ages. Things should start slowing down at home in about 2 weeks. I'm hoping that I can back into a schedule then.

Hey haters... I just don't seem to have worlds of time these days. once the day gets rolling, it goes so fast and before I know it it's bedtime!

Robin - I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time visiting with your sister. I love PUB. Those biceps are killer!

Dana - wow, you have LOTS of vacation days! Use 'em up, girl!

I just sliced my finger open on a paper cut and noticed that I'm getting blood all over my keyboard. I should probably get a Bandaid:p
 
Hey haters! I didn't even bother posting this weekend since typically there aren't too many of us around anyway & with the holiday weekend & vacations I didn't think anyone would be around.

I am off today, I typically always plan a day or two off around all holiday's as it is a great way to get 5-6 days off with only having to use 1-2 PTO days! I took my last dose of medicine for the sinus infection on Saturday & had been feeling pretty good but yesterday I developed a MAJOR sinus headache & was short of breath & then last night was feeling feverish again. I went to Walgreens this morning & got some more medicine & hoping that will help. If not, I guess it'll be back to the doctor to try & figure something out b/c if the infection comes back again the medicine must not be working.

Robin- Glad you had a wonderful time on vacation, they never last long enough though & you almost need a vacation from your vacation to get ready for every day life again or at least I do when I've been gone for a week or more!

Dana- Sounds like you have been really busy hope you are finding a little time for yourself.

Shelley- Ouch, paper cuts are the WORST!!! Have you ever tried liquid bandaid? I love that stuff, dries so quick - I am always washing my hands so regular bandaids don't last long for me.

Well I am going to go get the clothes out of the washer and call a landscaping place to see how they estimates or planning or whatever, not really sure what I need so I am hoping they can tell me! I already have a quote from my tree guys for the price of ripping out all my landscaping so now I need to figure out what I am going to put in it's place before I have that done. I have ZERO flower/gardening ability so I will be paying a landscaping place to do it all for me, will be worth it though when I go to sell.

I will BBL, after that I think I am going to take a small nap then do workout 2 for the day... I've been 2/day workouts since Friday & did Drill Max morning & Power 90 Master Series Plyo Legs in the evening & my legs feel like they could fall off today! So, it'll be something very low impact - thinking 30 min of glute work w/ some of the upper body from Slim & Lean.
 
I'm so glad to see some haters still exist.

Dana, I'm off next Tuesday. I'm meeting a friend for breakfast, but don't have any plans yet for the rest of the day.

Shelley, did you stem the flow?

Jen, I'm sorry to hear you're still have problems with your sinuses. Sounds like something more is going on there. I hope you and your doctor get it straightened out.

Michele posted on the <--thread and is having a wonderful time in Venice. I'm so glad!

Robin - glad you liked the area. It took a few trips before I was convinced I wanted to move here, but I felt drawn and I am very glad I came. I have only been here for about 1 1/2 years and we are just now starting to look for a house to buy (one of the reasons I have been absent lately.)

I also have to confess I have become addicted to facebook. After moving away from my family and friends I felt a little isolated, but now I can "see" them every day! I know Shelley is a fellow addict :)

I have been lurking and was saddened to see that we seemed to be becoming a ghost town. Glad to see some life back in this thread. I am sure we be spotty over the summer months, but I will try to check in at least to see how you all are doing and to be accountable for my workouts (my eating has been pretty crappy lately, so I don't even want to go there!)

I have been following a modified version of fitnessfreaks Get Ready for Summer Rotation and I can really see increases in my muscle mass and definition. I haven't lost any weight, but I have lost a little on the tape measure. I was so worried about not doing some form of cardio every day and I am so glad to see that I haven't lost any aerobic conditioning by cutting back. Actually, my cardio endurance seems to be improving and by strengthening my muscles, workouts like Lowmax are easier than before.

Yesterday I did PUB with a weight increase and barely have any DOMs today. I am not sure if this is because I am getting stronger or because I only increased my weights for certain exercises! I get kinda worried when I don't feel sore - is it normal to reach a level where you don't get DOMs as fequently?

Today was Low Max and boy did I sweat! I really want to lean out so I need to clean up my eating and see if that helps. But it is so hard with hot summer days and cold beers or frosty ice cream and barbeques and temptation everywhere!!!!

I'll check in again tomorrow and see how you all are doing.
