No DOMS?

For the educated crowd:)

There was a time when I'd do Core Max or any number of Cathe's Ab workouts and I would be sore the next day. Lately that is not the case. I did SPJ abs yesterday and I really feel my abs during the exercises (I sweat...grunt...the whole bit!;-)) but I have no DOMS. I guess I use DOMS as a gauge as to whether I'm working hard enough. Am I still getting benefits or should I kick it up a notch and add more to my workout?

Would appreciate any input.

You know, this was brought up a few weeks ago and there were responses all over the place...some people experienced DOMS often, and other's did not. I am one who rarely experiences DOMS and only unless it is an activity I have not done for a few months...like getting saddle sore after not riding horses all winter. As far as working out, I usually do not get sore. Now, the first time I did GS Chest my arm pits were sore for two days from all of those push-ups! That was horrible! Even just the bouncing of the boobs during cardio the next day about brought tears to my eyes! ;)

So everyone's body must respond differently. :)

:7 :7 :7 OMG, how funny! :7 :7 :7

I normally experience DOMS when I switch workouts or when I try a new workout. After 3 weeks of S&H, I switched back to the Gym Styles. Last week my whole upper body was very sore. I did GS-CT yesterday but am not that sore today, which is interesting since I got to increase my weights even more for chest work. I believe that next week, the soreness will be even less, but when I switch to endurance-type work the week after that, the DOMS will be back.

Angie, I haven't seen your username in a while. Obviously you've been too busy working out instead of posting on the forums like some of us. Maybe that's why you just don't get the DOMS as much or at all.

Marla;-) :)
