Does anyone else wonder why all of these celebrities get busted for driving under the influence? First off, it is a terrible thing to do. But come on, with all their money you would think that one would say.."Hey, I am gonna go get loaded tonight. Maybe I should think about hiring a driver!" What is going through their stupid heads. Don't they realize that they are endangering other people? Or do they just think they are above it all? Ok, I just had to rant for a bit!

i just like in the article i read that she was going the wrong way on the freeway DUH!!!!!!! ppl make this bad choice every single day, they just don't get their face plaster all over every news channel, it just must be the "in" thing to get caught being drunk and stupid in public. one reason i am recovering!!!!

ITA ... they do not live in reality .. their world is so much different than everyone elses .. I think some of them think they are almost untouchable ..

but Nicole .. GMAB .. she supposedly went to rehab to figuire out why she is losing weight .. GMAB .. and supposedly has gained weight but upon her booking she only weighed 85 pounds .. uuuummm can we say anorexia and drugs ??? she admitted to taking vicadin and marijuana .. my guess is there is probalby more that she is on ..

If you look on FoxNews website on the GGGRRRRRR colum . . the writer describes (loosly translated by me mind you)the downfall of celebrities .. and how they think we hold them in so much benevelance .. that they are going to wake up and find us really not caring at all ..

the amount of money they spend on a weekend of "partying" could sure go along way to solving some of the poorer peoples problems . and right here in the USA mind you .. it erks me that they are so quick to help in other countries .. but very few help right here in their own country .. now there are some that do but the majority don't ..

I actually agree w/you Poochy--when I heard she was 5'1", 85 lbs I was shocked. I don't get these girls. They're supposed to be the new "Brat Pack" but I grew up w/those kids (Demi Moore, Sheen/Estevez, Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald, etc.) but even though they did drugs, they had a different kind of bond b/c they literally grew up together. These girls hooked up in a bar & latched on to each other I guess b/c there are so few young women with so much money they have nothing better to do than drink & do drugs.

And of course someone who weighs 85 lbs will get totally wasted w/one glass of wine. Unless her resistance is really high (no pun intended) by now.

But look on the bright side--I for one really like Jessica Simpson--I think she's adorable, has great personality & is very wholesome. Kelly Clarkson is a good role model too. I'm sure there are others out there but not associating much w/teen girls I don't know who they are.

So let's focus on the good celebs out there. Just b/c someone's rich & famous doesn't make them bad. In fact, some have used their celebrity status to do great things. Forget that dingbat Nicole. She's yesterday's news.

Well, she should be if only the press could get it's act together. x(

I'm personally FREAKED OUT, finally. Until now she was just a face in the tabloids, but for heaven's sake--I'm FROM Los Angeles and often drove that same damn freeway at that time of night, and I STILL HAVE friends and family that live there and SHE COULDA KILLED SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm making it personal, but this finally made it hit home for me. She's scary. That was a VERY BAD choice to make, to drug herself and then drive. Ooooh I'm in a swearing mood now.

Just had my wisdom teeth removed a couple of weeks ago, had dry socket, and took Vicodin for the pain--that's serious stuff.

Beavs, she's on a television show (The Simple Life?) with Paris Hilton. I watched it once and it was entertaining...not in a "those girls are witty" way. More like "those girls are amazing idiots and I can't believe they can negotiate their way through life" way.
