That's the compliment I got today at the gym while adjusting the bar on the hamstring curl machine. I just felt so incredibly proud of myself because I have really been focusing on upper-body strength and it was just such a pleasure to be noticed! (And of course, I was like, "oh these old things?" KIDDING - I was grinning from ear to ear.)
One of the things I really love about Cathe's tapes is that she trains you to understand your musculature, so you really understand how to lift properly. I just feel so empowered when I do lift at the gym because I know what my muscles are called, I know how to work them, I know which exercises to do to build. Anyone else want to share a "nice arms" (or legs, or abs, or whatever) moment?
