Christi said on her website that Solid Gold Step is being replicated now and should be available for purchase within the week. It has been shown as temporarily unavailable but will be available again if anyone wants this one. Also, she sent out an e-mail stating that they are going to have a "spectacular DVD reduction sale soon" and that she will let us know when that is going to happen. She said they are "not leaving the DVD business, just reducing the prices to please our customers". Just thought I'd pass the news along in case anyone was interested. Thanks!!!

I just got done ordering from her site! I didn't think 14.95 and 9.95 was too bad. I wonder what the reduced prices will be. I was afraid to wait too long and have another one unavailable when I wanted to order a bunch at once. They are going to hold my order until Solid Gold Step is complete and ship the entire order then. I hope it is soon. I had some of hers in VHS and gave them away and then had to save for the DVD's. I saved all summer! I should get on her mailing list to get the info you got.
Thanks for the news.

I saw the news, too! I totally love Christi's workouts.

I got some good advice from this forum on which workouts to get about a month ago, and thanks to them I bought a bunch of them..........they're all totally fun and great!.........and now I'm kicking myself for not just ordering them ALL! }( }( }(

Now I'm on a mission to get all the ones I don't have. :) I live outside of the States, so I'm hoping Collage will carry the reissue of Solid Gold Step...or I'll have to do something desperate.

Hello,

I was wondering if I should buy some of Christy's workouts. I have never tried them, but heard good reviews about them. I heard that her choreography is quite complex and her workouts are just as high intensity as Cathe's. But I read the length of the workouts and they seem rather short, 50 mins as opposed to 60+ for Cathe's. Does she have pre-mixes like Cathe's? Does she have strength workout on some DVDs? Which would you recommend?

Yen

Hi Yen. I love Christy's workouts. Yes, they are shorter, usually 48 mins. She does have about 5 mins. of ab work and some have a bonus section. Her Hi-Lo Heaven is 90 minutes and has strength work and I think Step Heaven is also 90 minutes with strength work. Her choreography is more complex than Cathe and maybe a little less intense but she is a lot of fun, her music is great and she is great at cueing. She loves to turn but you don't have to. If you love complex, dancy choreography then you will love Christy. I have Totally Hot Cardio, Totally Cool Step and the Fantastic Four DVD and I love all of them. I would probably get the Fantastic Four DVD which has Hi-Lo Heaven and Step Heaven. Many people think these are her best Hi-Lo and step workouts. It also has Still Jumpin' and Still Steppin on it as well. Hope this helps.

I'd recommend the Fantastic Four series - I started using these workouts before any of her others. There are 2 50 min workouts (1 hi-lo, 1 step); and 2 90 minute workouts (1 hi-lo, 1 step)which also contain an interval weights section. They are some of her classics. The only downside to these 4 workouts is that they do not contain her MoveMaster instructor sessions that literally walk you through the choreography move by move. Her later series like the Totally Cool/Hot and Solid Gold do contain these. It depends on how you feel more comfortable with a little more advanced choreography as to what you start out with. Have fun!
