My work has just opened a new Women's Center, and I received a flyer the other day about some services that they are now offering. I was most interested in the new Body Fat Testing they are offering....
It is called:
Ge Lunar Prodigy DEXA system: It is an Ultra low dose X-ray machine that takes measurements of Bone, Total body fat, Fat distribution and Lean muscle mass. The machine was created to assess for fractures risk with Osteoporosis. This is THE most accurate measurement of body fat and lean muscle mass to date!!! very cool. The cost of the scan is about $100.00, it only takes 15 minutes and you are completely clothed for the scan..
