New series & height of the step

Hi, Cathe:

I know you are being deluged with questions and praise for the new workouts, so hopefully this hasn't been asked already. I'm curious as to why you are back up to 8 inches on your step for this batch of workouts. It seems like you went down to 6 around the Intensity Series and have maintained that level. I'm curious because when I go to 8, my ankles and knees give me a lot of grief (so I don't go there)... I didn't feel bad about this because you were on 6, but now I am concerned that I might be missing out on a lot with the height. Can you provide some insight?

Hi Marie! I sometimes use 8 inches when filming low impact workouts. I especially wanted to in LIC because it was a circuit workout and I wanted to give the cardio portions of the workout an extra "kick" (since the cardio didn't last as long as a non-stop all cardio workout).

As for Body Max 2, I wanted to keep as close as possible to the style and format of the original (in which I used an 8 inch step height).

If you know that 6 inches is what works best for you based on your experience, please keep it at 6. I still step with 6 inches most of the time too.
