New Rykas, Step Blast, Pain in Foot...

I finally received my new step, got some new Rykas, and tried Step Blast today. I didn't even get halfway through the video because of the pain in my left foot. The pain radiates from the arch back to my heel. Do you think some type of shoe insert would help me?
Should I try Step Blast barefoot?
I'm a bit disappointed.

Do you still have your old shoes? See if they feel better or at least not as bad when you do SB. If they don't feel as bad, then it's your new Rykas.

I learned a long time ago, that I had to find the perfect shoe for my foot. I don't care if my shorts or tee-shirt were about to fall off, I had to have the perfect shoe. Hence, I have made some mistakes, but I do have some good choices & needless to say, after many years of high-impact my feet are still pretty, & my joints still respect me.
