Hi Cathe!
Boy am I glad I found this website - I searched the keyword "tri-set" on yahoo and finally! Finally at last, I found someone selling muscle toning tapes.

I am not sure how this forum works - but I can see it's not confidential. Oh well!

My question:
I was going to purchase your slow and heavy DVD series. I have checked out the video clip on the site and like what I see.

I have lifted weights before and do go to the gym 3 times a week at least. But work out 5 times a week doing Tae-Bo and Cathy's kickboxing at home on tuesdays and thursdays respectively.

My problem is eating, which I am trying to correct. The other problem is technique, which I am hoping your videos will help me with.

However, I wanted to also add some supplements - for faster fat-loss. Can you recommend something that is safe for females.

I am 100% healthy. I used to take Ripped Fuel, but with the ephedra scare, I stopped using it. I tried Thyrolean but it did not work or I did not believe in it. Can you recommend something please?

I love Bill Phillp's site, and visit there often, but their challenge seems to work only if you use their supplements - which are very expensive.

Thanks in advance. And, I really hope your video is what I have been looking for.

Cheers,

Hi Shaan! Welcome to this wonderful website! The Slow & Heavy Series as well as Power Hour tapes are awesome and by far the very best that Cathe's ever done. Definitely purchase these.

As far as your diet is concerned, I do know that Cathe doesn't get involved with advising on anyone's diet. I personally can tell you that I was using both Thyrolean and Pyruvate. Yes they both work but ARE NOT GOOD FOR YOU! They only work as long as you keep taking them. Once you stop, the weight does creep back. Instead of taking any supplements I'd like you to check out the thread on "What do you eat" by Saralh. She and others have some really terrific nutritional ideas on how you should be eating. This is by far more important than the exercise. All the exercise in the world won't do you a bit of good unless you eat clean. You'll see what I mean by "clean" when you check out that thread. Also, look into purchasing or checking out of the library a book called "Eat Right Play Hard" by Liz Applegate. What a terrific book this is.

So, welcome aboard!! We're glad to have you join us! Kathy

Thanks "M"!

I am hoping this forum will help me stick to my training. I really need to get lean.

Thanks for the welcome!!

Hiya Kathy!

Thanks for the response. I don't eat much, I just eat the wrong stuff. I don't like cooking, so it's always roast meats with boiled potatoes or pastas!

I will check out the thread. Thanks!

Yah, I didn't have much confidence in Thyrolean or Pyruvate. I wish I could go back using Ripped Fuel with ephedra (moderately, like 1 pill a day for 2 weeks then stop for 1 week) but in Canada, they have stopped selling the ephedra version - it's banned!

I already feel it, this forum is going to provide wonderful support.

Thank you!!!

Hi Shaan! Welcome to the site. Nice to have you with us. As far as supplement suggestions, sorry I can't be of more help but unfortunately I don't use them and therefore cannot offer any advice. But in the area of form and technique with lifting, the Slow and Heavy series and Power Hour will offer many valuable tips and demonstrations on correct alignment and modifications. I think you will enjoy these. Good luck and please keep us informed of your progress. Take Care :)!
