Hi - my name is Linda and I've been lurking for a couple of months now, but now I feel compelled to join and tell you how excited I am to have discovered Cathe's workouts. Like many of you, I am in my early early 40's and have been an athlete for many years. However, since the birth of my twins boys - now almost 3 years old - I had never really been able to get back into a groove with running or never could find the time to go to do step at the gym (and thus hadn't been able to shift this 20# weight gain), so I started looking around on the web for exercize videos and stumbled upon Cathe. Having done step aerobics for many years, I was excited at the promise of the advanced choreography so I bought Rhythm Step and Power Max VHS. The very first time I played them, I knew I had hit on something that would work for me. I was challenged and I really liked Cathe's style. So it was then that I started checking out the forums and got wise and started buying DVD's. I've now got several of Cathe's workouts including Step Blast, Pyramids, Power Hour and Imax2. I am so inspired that I have been getting up early in the morning to work out, something I've never been able to do in the past. I have told my husband that I need to carve out the time every day to work out now and he has been very supportive of that. The best of all is that after a month of doing these workouts (six days a week mind you), I am starting to see results: tummy flattening, some arm definitions, clothes getting bigger; plus when do the workouts I have such great energy now!

Well, as I said I just felt compelled to write because I am feeling so great about my new found work out community. It's great to see how active the forums are because a big part of my inspiration has come from reading others posts. You guys are tough!

You have hit ona great community of at home exercisers. I too am a 40 something Mom and have found Cathe's workouts to be extremely valuable to my exercise rotations.

We specialize in tough love around here, as well as spending your money for you! As always, it's gratifying to hear about your progress with Cathe's workouts. And I'm sure you will have a lot to contribute here as well.

Welcome Linda! I lurked awhile myself although I had done Cathe's videos for years. Now though it is mostly Cathe. That is so great you have started seeing results, it really is a good feeling isn't it? A supportive husband is very nice too...and twin boys...wow....what a handful!....:)...Carole

And so nice to meet another 40something who likes to stay in shape! Twins...oh boy-oh boy!! I'm always in awe of mother's of twins because mine came one at a time and that was tough enough! My youngest is four and absolutely a handful!

I am recently a new member to the Cathe forums/workouts myself and I have found many nice people here who are always willing to give you advice or share experiences. :) :D :)
 
Thank you all for your encouraging messages of welcome. By the way, I am British, any other Brits? I wonder if Cathe is exported to other countries? Thanks again.
