New Hope for this Push-Up Weenie!

Okay, so last week I was all full of myself for having done 9 (alright, 8 + 1 really slow) push-ups on my toes (a new record for me). The next day when I tried I could do no more than 5 or 6 at a time and one day 4 was all I could muster--still tried to do a few every day after that. I took a total rest day yesterday (from all forms of exercise) and today when I tried my push-ups was able to do 10! I tried an hour or so later and as able to do 7! Last week when I did the 9, was also after a rest day.

How many do I have to do before I am no longer a weenie? :)
 
Boy, Donna, you're really making progress! Ten!!! Way to go!

Since I'm only doing power yoga this week with its seemingly endless chaturangas, I've been doing push-ups a few hours after my practice and have not made much progress. My upper body's pretty fried already, I guess, and my progress has been fluctuating.

The most I've done was eight. Last night I did six, collapsing onto the floor during my seventh. I might skip them today in order to rest my over-chaturanga'd upper body and see how I do tomorrow before my workout. Thursday's my rest day so I'm curious how I'll do on Friday. I have a feeling I'll make more progress if I do them every other day rather than every day.
