New CIA 2601-Step Cardio Express

I received this last week, along with 2602 (which I haven't done yet). The instructor is Gay Gaspar, whom I've never done before. It was really fun! I was mostly able to get the choreography on the first try, and it was very much Cathesque IMO. I was only using one set of risers on my bench, as I do with every video the first time through, but I would recommend two.

The cool down was very fun.

The core work was nothing like Cathe's, so that was the only down side.

Total length was 70:30.

I've been wishy-washy on CIA in the past, but I really liked this one. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the new videos in the 2600 series, as I wait for Cathe's new ones.

Thanks for posting this message. I have been watching the previews for this video on Collage and wondering about it. I think I need to wait a month or two, but I will put it on my list.

Thanks for the post! I got this one last week and haven't tried it yet. Now, I will need to pull it off the shelf ASAP!!!

I have got most of Gay Gasper's workouts. She is usually classified as Intermediate. I, also, have done her new workout. I have always been able to get her choreography down first try and this one is no different.

She is a very good cuer and this workout is fun! No, the core wasn't like Cathe's but it was good for the ten minutes it was.

I have also done Step Generation (2602) with Anne Marie Sills. I have her Jammin' 32 step workout which I do all the time. This new step workout is more complex than Gay's, but that is how Anne teaches. It took me a couple of times doing the first section to totally get that down. The second section I have half of it down.

I love that part of the more complex stepping workouts - I like to feel like it is a challenge - one where I think I will never get this to YEAH!!! now I got it. She is a very fun and energetic instructor.
