Hello:)

NROL4W, Afterburn and Warp Speed Fat Loss are all programs by Alwyn Cosgrove. Google him. There's tons of info on the web! Here's a very brief description of the programs:

NROL4W is focused on gaining strength and building muscle.

Afterburn is focused on fat loss.

Warp Speed Fat Loss is like Afterburn after drinking 13 pots of coffee! LOL ;)

Alwyn believes in interval training as opposed to steady state so all of the cardio prescribed for his program is just that. The weightlifting done focuses on working multiple muscle groups at the same time in every exercise so you will not find exercises like tricep kickbacks in his work outs.

TT is Turbulence Training: check it out on the web as I don't personally know much about it. Maybe someone else will chime in on it though.

One more thing: All of Alwyn's programs are either downloaded to your computer as an e-book or you can also order the hardcopy book but they are not DVD work outs.

TT is a subscription I believe where you get online access to written rotations to follow. I was recently on the TT site though and saw that they also have a DVD set available.

HTH a bit!:)

>Thanks Wendy, yes that does help! I will google Alwyn Cosgrove
>now:)

Come back and tell us your thoughts after you've check it all out!:)

Wendy,
Which one of these programs would you recommend? My budget will only allow me to purchase one. Where's a good place to start? Thanks

Your goals will determine which workout is right for you. Of course following the nutrition guidelines is crucial to success. But Catheites already know that!

I am doing NROL4W and my goal is improved muscle strength for the sole purpose of having a higher resting metabolism and therefore burn more fat. Plus I do not want to lose muscle mass that occurs naturally with age. I am 47. I have lifted weights with Cathe since 1999, and The Firm before that.

NROL4W is inexpensive also and I purchased in instead of STS. It is very unusual for me not to pre order anything Cathe does. But I chose to go an inexpensive route this time around.

Let us know what you think.

Tassha,

ITA with what Judy said. NROL4W is very inexpensive and can be picked up at any bookstore. Afterburn and WSFL are a bit more pricey and must be purchased online.

If you are looking for gradual fatloss then go with Afterburn. (4 month progam)

If you are looking to lose more fat faster then go for WSFL.(28 day program)

If you are looking to strengthen and build muscle with which fat loss should naturally occur if your diet is in check then go with NROL4W. (6 month program)

It really depnds on your goals and your budget. Whatever you choose, make sure you get in on our check-in!!!:)

Well,i checked it out yesteday and the program looks pretty good! The afterburn one is the one I read about....he's pretty funny...i couldn't help but laugh.

I may do the afterburn program, and if i do i will definitely check in with you girls in the new check in....if its ok;-):)

the WSFL program looks pretty interesting too....im not sure which one i may try? Ive been stuck at the same weight now for over a yearx(! so its time for a change;-)

Amelia:

Have fun deciding which one to get! Ofcourse you are welcome to join our check in!

Oh and just a side note: You don't have to purchase the e-book. I bought AfterBurn in hardcopy format. If not for that, I would not have purchased it. Having to read it on line would irritate me. :p
