New all star workouts

I totally agree. I've seen most of the new All Star Workouts and they by no means hold a candle to Cathe. I did tape a few, though, to do as a light workout one day or just something different. I will always probably use them in the morning to get my body moving. I can't handle a whole Cathe workout in the morning yet - nor do I have time. I put Cathe in after my day's work to de-stress.

Take care,
Marcia.

They are obviously meant to appeal to the average exerciser, who is beginner/intermediate in most cases.

Some of them are more intense (or could be made more intense) than others.

Looks like the same 8 (?) episodes that have already been shown are going to be replayed over and over again.

I haven't seen Patrick's ball workout, but I liked (from watching) Petra Kolber's workout.

Akk! That was horrible. The instructor trying to look like a real kickboxer (but his form showed he wasn't!).

I caught the hip hop one today--I don't know if I would have the guts to try it:)

Funny thing happened to me last week, though. I did KPC on Wednesday for the first time in at least a month, and was so sore on Thursday (which was supposed to be ME in my rotation) that I almost didn't work out. Then I remembered that I taped the Pilates/Cardio workout with Ellen something or other and figured I'd do that one--they were only holding three pound weights, so what could it hurt. Well, it hurt my back, my inner thighs, my abs....I felt like an idiot thinking I was so "superior" to that kind of workout. Just goes to show what can happen just by trying something new! And now I know what overtraining feels like:-(
