Okay, here's my situation. I am going on a trip to Puerto Vallarta in the middle of April with DH and his partners from work. Well, I have never been one to feel really comfortable in a swim suit, but I would like to change that since we will be on the beach and doing a lot of water related stuff. Plus, one of DH's partners has a girlfriend who is tall, thin and tan. Well, I am 5'2", very fair skinned and would like to lose about 10-15 pounds before the trip. I know I shouldn't compare myself to this other girl, but I don't want to feel like a fat frump any time I'm standing next to her.
Anyway, here is where I need your help. What is my best approach to being able to achieve this goal? I am already eating clean. Unfotunately I have been sick and kind of out of the loop working out lately, so I have to kind of start slow and build my way back up to my previous fitness level. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I like Cathe's rotations, so if there are any that any of you think might be good choices (besides the BootCamp rotation because I can't spend more than 90 minutes a day on a workout) I'd love to hear it.

I feel like I'm starting all over again, and am kind of at a loss of where to begin.

Thanks to all of you!

Hi, Katie! I know how you feel. I am going with my daughter to a girl scout event where they have indoor swimming, and I don't want to put on my bathing suit, either! x(
Since it has been a while since you have worked out, you will probably not have trouble losing a little at first. I have found that circuit workouts are great, but I am not great at doing rotations. I know that there are quite a few in the "Rotations" section of the forum that you can check out and tailor to your needs and schedule. I also did two months where I ate no sugar: no pie, no ice cream, no cake, no candy, nada! and I lost ten pounds by doing that alone. Your body doesn't really need that junk, though anyways.
I am sure that you will look beautiful! I saw your picture and you are a very beautiful woman, with a gorgeous little girl, might I add! :) And even though I know that there is always going to be someone who looks better than I do in a swimsuit, for some reason I am always going to find someone who looks worse. ;) Have a great time, and don't let your fear of how you look compared to the woman next to you get you down! :)

Thank you Missy! You are very sweet! I know I shouldn't care about how I look in comparison with someone else, but I grew up being the chubby girl when I was young and so I still have a lot of self image issues I think. Thanks for your advice. I have been trying to stay away from the sugar as well. It's tough when my family has 5 Birthdays this month, but so far I have done alright.
I like circuit workouts as well, but don't find myself quite ready to do some of the more intense ones. I'll just have to work my way up.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
