Need Workout Clothes

Gyggles1

Cathlete
I need to buy some new workout clothes, I like shorts because I get so hot but I don't want ones that ride up or move around to much.
I would like to order online since I have searched around town and have found nothing I like or that is any decent quality.

How about danskin ?

What does Cathe wear ? I like the style she has.

Thanks!
Laura :)

I think she might have a link in her Buyer's Guide to places that supply her clothes. Isn't that just the worst when your shorts ride up? I had a few good pair, but my dog chewed them!

I love the Nike's Dri-Fit shorts. I have 2 pairs. I know for me it depends on the udies that I wear if my shorts rise up on me.

I have found some really fun workout clothes at pitbullclothing.com They have a lot of sale items. I confess, I love to indulge in colorful workout clothes (not for everyone, I know), they help motivate me on blah days.

Writer,

How do your Pitbull tops fair after a good sweaty workout? Cathe wore their tops in the last set of videos and actually found they were cute before sweating, but after, lost their support. Here is a copy of what she said:

>As far as Pitbull clothing, I will be honest and say that their >clothes are cute and fit well upon trying them on but NOT after >sweating in them. Speaking for only the pieces that we ordered, the >pants and the pastel tank tops with the thin black piping down the >front were simply okay for support (I also would definitely hand wash >and hang dry these pieces).

>The baby rib camisole(in black, lavendar, and sea breeze blue)tops >and the baby rib tee (sea breeze blue t-shirt) however, did not >provide enough support for a workout. These tops both lost their >support as we sweated in them. They were thin and wrinkled when we >sat down and stayed wrinkled when we stood up (once sweaty). We also >had to shorten the straps to the cami by 3 inches to get better >support. I honestly would not recommend them for anything other than >to wear out on a summer day with shorts or jeans. I'll admit though >that they were very cute on and I honestly did like them a lot for >just wearing at the gym because they are a very comfortable soft >fabric and look very fitness like. They just don't meet the needs of >high intensity workouts in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I'm just wondering what you think. I hope they have improved their quality,as,I just checked their site and like you said, they have EXCELLENT sale prices.

Nadine,
Thanks for including this, I hadn't seen it. [Is there a place where Cathe comments on clothing? I'd love to see the spot.] I've only worn mine a couple of times so far, and they've done fine. I have to say, though, I am (unfortunately) one who doesn't need much support -- so I wouldn't notice if a top didn't have much! [No matter how many flyes I do, can't seem to build this area....anyway, that's a different topic.] I often add a thin sport bra (the Hanes stretchy, pull over kind) under my tops if they have no inner bra -- I have found additional support needed even with some name brands. I did notice that the straps of one top are rather low-slung, and I might shorten them. The tops do fit a little looser than some others (I wear small or sometimes extra-small, and the small fit a little loosely, though comfortably so). I ordered pants too, and they've been fine so far. Still, I'm glad to see this comment, and I will watch and see if I have the same experience as Cathe. I didn't notice the wrinkling problem, but I'll look for that! The clothes are mostly cotton, as opposed to some of the newer synthetic materials, so that may be why they wrinkle. It sounds like it may be another case of you get what you pay for.... Do you know of other websites that have cute and durable workout clothing? Carol
