I want to get Max some new toys or other amusing objects for his first birthday. He is beginning to tire of his infant toys (although he still loves his sassy links!). Please share which toys your child enjoys. I'm also interested in knowing what NOT to spend my money on - toys that your child wouldn't bother with. Thanks!

My daughter also seems to like "collections" in various containers-- plastic food in kitchen dish container, farm animals in a barn, little Pooh characters in diaper wipe container, sea animals in a baggie, alphabet letters in a clear plastic backpack.... hmm... laundary in a basket too!

Megablocks are like legos but bigger. My mother in law bought the bus with megablocks at walmart. i got the piano at a yard sale. I also have a mini car (looks narrow like a motorcycle) that she loves sitting on. Can you believe the 12 month mark is right around the corner?

I forgot to mention the Little People's School Bus. My daughter really likes that one too.
