Need to vent a little...

Hi all,

I rarely post in the forums, but I'm just so darn frustrated. Grrrr...

I emailed customer service to have my shipment address changed for my body blast dvd order, due to the fact that it looks as though they will be shipped right around the holidays. I didn't think it would be any big deal to do this. I was told that it can't be done.

We all know that lots of people are gone for the holidays (2 weeks for me) and since I live in downtown Chicago, lets just say it's not an option to have my packages left at my doorstep. :(

I haven't complained about the DVD delays. I just stay on the sidelines and patiently wait for updates in the forums. But changing an address?

If that package that I've been waiting to receive for months comes when I'm away, it will just get shipped right back. This just bums me out.

Awww Jen, that is too bad. Is there any way you can have a neighbor grab your package for you? Maybe, you can track it so you'll know which day it is being delivered and then let a neighbor/family member know? I don't think you will have to be there to sign for it. I usually leave a note telling my UPS man to leave package as they are not usually supposed to in condo areas but he always leaves it! :7 Good Luck. What reason did they give for not changing the address? That seems odd that they can't honor your request. I thought I remembered a post where someone asked about possibly changing their address and SNM said to just email it. hmmm.... I'll have to find it.

your request seem totally reasonable to me and SNM's response seems totally unreasonable. Sorry, but there it is.

The package has not even mailed yet. What is the problem here?!?!?!

SNM are not millions of bodies working in high tech offices that we humble people cannot reach. They are 2 or 3 bods working in a small office in downtown New Jersey somewhere. If they want to help you they certainly can. It's as simple as that.

Go back to them again and tell them the response is not good enough.

I'm going on vacation for two weeks too. I emailed the customer service about a week ago requesting to change the shipment address to my office. They emailed back and said it's been updated. Unless your order has been processed through UPS, I don't see why they can't change it. I'll email the customer service again. Good luck and have a nice trip!!!

Thanks for the kind replies. I feel so juvenille, yet I'm just soooo excited to get the dvd series. I'm sure that you all understand! :)

I emailed [email protected] (perhaps I used the incorrect email address? Sara, I noticed that your email was sent to [email protected]... hmmm...

Anywho, I was told something kinda like this-- the shipping labels have been 'pulled' from the order forms all ready and it would be very difficult to make an address change at this point. Perhaps this is because we're getting down to the wire with the dvd's shipping (hey, *that* is great news!)

I'm just going to have to take a gamble as the set-up of my huge apartment complex isn't convenient to have someone sign it for me.
