Need to fix the triceps

I have pretty much ignored my arms for muscle building in the first 45 years of my life but a few months ago I decided that I would give it a try and have those great arms. Well, I must say that I have been getting some nice biceps but where, I wonder, are the triceps? I do about as much tricep as bicep but zero results. I do upper body three times per week. What can I do everyday to get some muscle defintion there? If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. NICE TRICEPS MUST BE MINE (I write this standing with my right fist in the air---not bad because I am right handed and am typing with my left hand)!!!

Hi Tallchick -

Not Cathe, but here's my experience. I'm 53, and my tricep muscles seemed to appear without notice after doing P90X and then Cathe's hardcore workouts for triceps. I can't tell you how long it took for these muscles to appear, but I would say that they can't help but not appear working out like you are. You didn't mention how long you've been on the quest for great tri's. Maybe you're being impatient? I'd say keep doing what you're doing, but don't work the same muscle group every day. Give those triceps a 48 hour rest between workouts. And keep us posted!

thank you Bubbles100. I have seriously been to work on the triceps and biceps about 40 months, before it was just to keep them from getting sore. I have the Triceps from hardcore, I add that about once a week to one of my upper body workouts. It is high time I have them and I am willing to be patient (trying to be patient, that is LOL). Thank you!

A couple weeks ago, I finished the Upper Body Bliss Rotation. I didn't have S&H until the later part of the rotation, but used the Pyramids and CTX instead. I liked the results so much, I continued the rotation for another 2 weeks, using S&H for the last 3 weeks of the rotation. Then 2 weeks ago, I started the November fat loss rotation and those triceps have popped out.

Interesting for me, after using S&H, I did a Pyramid workout and felt like I was flying thru it (speed wise).
