Need sugar help

King Arthur is having free shipping today so I want to get sugar to decorate my Christmas cookies. Some sugars are called sparkling sugar and some are called course sugar. I decorate my spritz cookies before I bake them...so which sugar do I need? Thanks

Sounds like the sparkling sugars are the more decorative ones? The ones you would use on cookies and stuff?

I spent $75 at King Arthur last week .

It seems that the sparkling sugar is finer than the coarse sugar. If it was me, I would go for the finer sparkling sugar. I don't think one would be better than the other. I think it's just preference.
